Taking a moment to share and observe...

Kelley knew she wanted to create Our Daily Bread designs to help people discover, accept and know Jesus and to find comfort in His words.  Having  read Diane Noble's post and seeing her inspiring card (its personal spiritual significance) and invitation to commemorate National Day of Prayer, it has proven to have done just that!

Prayer-ensemble

Diane truly captured the essence of the Lift Up Our Hands set.  The colors and understated elegance of the ensemble reflects the simple gesture of falling upon our knees to pray for our Lord's guidance, strength and acceptance.  Please make sure to stop by her blog because she explains how everything she incorporated into the design is symbolic and why the background music sheet of Sweet Hour of Prayer is so near and dear to her heart.

Many thanks, Diane, for allowing us to share your beautiful work, in both craft and in faith.

Please join in observance of the 58th Annual National Day of Prayer today.  This year Psalm 33:22 is the focus:

"May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord,

even as we put our hope in you."

We ask that we all come together and pray for our nation.

Thank you for your kind words, and for featuring my card. Now you've added a fourth reason why this card means so much to me. Blessings to all of you at ODBD for how you exalt Christ through your designs. Diane

I loved this when I first saw it on Diane's blog and love it even more now! I do love all the significance she included in the card and how she shared that with us all. Thank the Lord we are still free in this country to meet together to pray on a day specifically set apart for that purpose, and for the history we have as a Nation! Never has there been a greater need for us all to be on our knees! Thanks for showcasing Diane's great card and for giving us the great Sprititually uplifting stamps that ODBD produces!
