October New Release and a Blog Hop!!!

We know it's never easy when friends or loved ones leave this life and enter the gates of Heaven, let alone create a card that offers condolences and support.  This is why Our Daily Bread designs put together these three new sets, making it a little easier to lend support to those who have suffered a loss:

With Deepest Sympathy:

Praying For You:

With Heartfelt Sympathy:

It is our hope that these will be of comfort, to help remind those who remain in this physical world that our loved ones have moved on to the spiritual world.

I didn't see anything on Angie Z's blog either, but will go back and check later and leave a comment. I left comments on all the blogs and I love the sentiments in these sets! I also love how versatile the dt made these sets -- they can be used for more then just sympathy cards. Thanks for all the inspiration!

I think I visited each blog and I am so amazed at the talent of each of the designers. There is alot of creativity out there. These new stamp sets are so comforting and encouraging. I love ODBD stamps and have several sets. I think I will be getting a new set soon! Thank you for designing stamps that glorify the Lord.

Stacy SCS Twinshappy said...

I have visited each blog, commented on each blog as well.
I think this set is very versatile as you see each person made a variety of card designs. I think mostly that the masculine or manly cards were my favorite. I do like that the sets are coming out with some sort of an image or two. That really enhances the sets. So great versatility and cards girls... I liked them all. But have to say that I loved Chris's rich and gorgeous card, and Silke's white on white the most... :0) Not that you asked which card was my favorite... Just sharing. lol

YAAA!! I left comments on each blog. Completely amazed by all of the great ideas. My first blog hop ever and it was so exciting!! How fun, I can't wait until the next one.

I visited each blog and left comments on each one. I think there are lots of beautiful cards and I especially like the fact that there are plenty of cards a guy would appreciate. Great colors and textures. I liked the With Deepest Sympathy and Praying for You sets the most. They all are great as usual.

I have been to all the blogs and left a comment. All of the cards show a very talented bunch of designers. These sets would make a wonderful addition to my stamp collection. I could use these for all occasions not just sympathy but I always have trouble with sympathy cards and these would get it just right. PICK ME! PICK ME!!

fabulous hop!! :D my fav thing was the reeds and verse in the With Heartfelt Sympathy set :)

1. That you have visited and commented on each blog on the hop, and
I definitely visited each site and left a note.
2. What you liked best about these sets! These sets are amazing! I often times have no idea what to say or how to say it when someone passes. They not only have the words that I can't think of but are so beautiful and creative as well.

Juliana Swanson said...

I truly appreciate how practical these sentiments are!!! They could be used to make cards ahead--or as an act prayer in the creation.
Great sets! Fabulous hop-I enjoyed each step of the way!

I am amazed at all of the beautiful cards this morning. I love these new sets. This last week I had the unfortunate occasion of needing 2 sympathy cards. I really struggled with these cards. These sets are perfect for that type of cardmaking..
This is my first ODB blog hop. You all did a super job.

Chelsea Cook said...

I just got done going through all the gifted DT member's blogs. Beautiful creations as always. Such an inspiration.
These sets truly touch my heart in ways I can't fully explain... a gal who I have known for a couple years now just lost her husband to a silent heart attack. They were at a lake together and he passed away in her arms. He was only 45. So incredibly sad. These sets provided me with comfort in knowing that the Lord will surround her with His love and give her the strength to get through each day. Would you please keep her in your prayers? Thank you.
What beautiful sets you have released. I know they will touch many as they have done to me.
What I like best about these sets is that they are so versatile and you can easily mix and match.
Thanks for sharing the love for Christ through ODBD.

I've visted & commented on each blog. Sympathy cards & male cards are the very hardest for most of us to create, so these new sets go a long way to ease those creative difficulties we all face. Really loves these sentiments to stamp so I don't have to come up with words to express my feelings at such a difficult time!!!

Phyllis M. said...

I have visited each blog and also left comments on each one too. The design team girls really did an outstanding job using those fab new stamps on their beautiful cards. A big Thank you to each one of them for their hard work and inspiring ideas. I love this new collection of stamps as they all go together so well and can be used for different cards besides sympathy and also that they make such wonderful sympathy cards too which is so hard to do. These are absolute beautiful sets and I will definitely be ordering these for my own card making. Thank you Kelley and the design team girls for such a wonderful blog hop and also Kelley for the beautiful stamp sets. Keep up the fantastic work.

Until then I can scraplift :). These 3 sets are very versetile, they have beautiful Bible verses, dragonflys, cattails, and boats(one of my hubbys favorite), and can be used on a sympathy card, on encouragment card, get well card, b-day card, a scrapbook page, light switch etc.... Dianne Davis Gotta go shopping :) Now!

I did it! I visited each blog and commented on each one.
The hardest thing for me is knowing what to say during someone's time of grief. My favorite thing about the newly released stamps is that they can "say" it for me.

Well... I think I have been to all your designer's blogs. How talented each of them is! It was easy to comment on each because every card was one I would love to receive. The creativity - and the uniqueness of each designer - is evident in their work.
The set I like best is "With Heartfelt Sympathy".

YEAH!! I have visited all of the blogs. I am amazed at the amount of talent and creativity that I've seen during this hop. I'm not sure which set of stamps I like best. They are all very versatile and can be used to create wonderful masculine cards as well as cards of consolation and sympathy.

Well.... I had a great day. My DS and his family were here. We went to Ford Field, Comerica Park, Somerset Mall, and then home. Got on the blog hop, made a comment at all the places. On the last place I noticed that you have to comment before six. So I won't be getting any prizes but I sure did have fun looking at all the wonderful creations using the ODB new stamps. Kelley, you have outdone yourself. Congratulations!
