What a great blog hop. I think my favorite set is Mini Tags 3, because those are phrases I would use the most. Although, the background is a close 2nd. I love using background stamps - a lot less intimidating to me than dp.

My favorite of set of the release was the porch set stamp - it envokes memories of past summers sitting on my porch with family and friends drinking iced tea - and hopes for this coming summer!

Honestly, it is soooooo hard to pick a favorite!! The porch set is so peaceful and so versatile not only in ways to coloring the scene to create effect but also in the many ways the border can be used BUT I have to say, having sentiments to use with the Spellbinder dies is also versatile and creative... do I really have to pick???? If I do, I guess I will have to go with the tag 3 sentiments, as I already have that die!!! It certainly was an incredibly beautiful blog hop. I almost never get all the way through other blog hops before I am bored silly but that doesn't happen on ODBD blog hops!!!

Rachel Brooks said...

Love to see the creativity and variety of ideas offered. I'd have to pick the porch set - reminds me of the porches on the family home and could be used so many ways. A wonderful hop. Thank you !

The mini tags 3 would have to be my favorite - I was very inspired by the designer who used them to decorate her cards with only DP as a background - they were smashing! And a fast way to make up a bunch of cards.

Sherry Kushibab said...

You get two comments since I left the answer to the question at the other site. So I'll repeat it here:
My favorites are the mini tags and matching dies from Spellbinders. They allow the most versatility as they can be layered with something like the porch scene or work great alone with embellishments and EF's like the one you have created, that I also like. Thats just my opinion. Not being Catholic (but a Christian who happens to worship in another church) I would not have much use for the Virgin Mary on cards I make. She is pretty though.

I completed the blog hop and enjoyed all the different ways each designer used to represent the stamp sets. I like the porch set. It seems so versatile. I also loved the messages.

Hi Sticks! I hopped everywhere and left little comments. My favorite set is the Porch set. I can close my eyes and smell the honeysuckles while me and my Granny are sitting on her porch in the hot summer evenings in Tennessee. There's a summer storm in the distance, the breeze blows in that sweet honeysuckle smell, mmmmmm.....crickets chirping, a whipperwill calling in the distance.... we solved many problems on that porch. What precious memories. How I loved my Granny. I have many memories of her sitting and reading God's Word. Thank you for making your wonderful stamps for us to use His timeless Word in so many creative ways. Iris, Saved by Grace

I have completed the blog hop and commented on each blog. The creations are awesome and I am thankful for the generous and talented designers. Know for my favorites, what a tough choice, so i narrowed it down to the vintage background stamp and embosser for it's elegance, the porch set, just because I like it, and the tag set stamps because i like to coordination with the spellbinder tag trio set. Thanks for the opportunity to win a gift certificate.

Hi It's Tanja again (my comment was May 2 1:32am. I forgot to say why the porch set is my fave - because the scene is so lovely to colour and the scriptures are so beautiful. It would be great for retirement, encouragement and for men. It would also be suitable for the cards I make my pastor to give to people on the first anniversary of their loved ones passing.

Ladies, this blog hop was absolutely fantastic! I completed all the hops and I have to say I was inspired by all.

My favorite set is the porch set. I love all the elements that come with it, but I especially love the scriptures, and based on your creativity, I was inspired by the amazing ways in which the stamps were used.

Keep on blessing us with your gifts!

I'm having a hard time deciding on this. I love the tags but I think the porch set just because of the memories it has brought back to me. Thanks to all the ladies for their absolutely beautiful and amazing creations.

Such a fantastic blog hop...as always! The ODBD team ROCKS!!

I really like allof the mini tags, BUT...
My favorite stamp set this month is The Blessed Virgin Mary. So glad to have a lovely set to share my Catholic faith...and with The Hail Mary in both English and Spanish...yes!

I have completed the blog hop, and commented on all the blogs! I'm so excited because I have just discovered ODBD recently and love what I see!!! Thanks so much for sharing.

My favorite is the Mini Tags 1, 2 and 3 and the Ribbon Tags Trio Three because I love the sentiments and I think I would use them often. I'm anxious to order them.

God Bless you all!

I completed the blog hop but was not able to post on Becca's blog. I tried like four different times. Please tell her for me I liked the way she show cased one of my favorite verses with the refreshing pink! Which leads me to my favorite set and it would have to be the Porch set! So many wonderful ways to use this set! I live outside of Nashville and it was a year ago that many of our communities were flooded, and I think of all the states especially Alabama that have been attacked by the raging tornados this year, but it is so refreshing to know that we have such an Amazing God that goes through these storms with us, and will restore and refresh us again! I must add that I really like the mini tags sets also, they would be so handy for so many projects! Well we are having another rainy Monday and it is time for me to have a cup of tea with the Lord and be refreshed! Thank you for the inspiration!

I hopped and had a great time! My favorite set was the Porch set. I have a porch too with a rocking chair and sat in it all day on Saturday. This set will have so many uses from cards to scrapping. And even creating frames. Love it!

Texangel said...

For me, the hardest part of designing a card is doing the sentiment. Mine tend to just lay there. The Mini Tags Three is perfect to add that touch of elegance. I visited all the blogs and didn't have a problem posting comments to each of them. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful talent and thank you for the opportunity to win!

I have hopped my way thru all the blogs and left comments. That wasn't easy!! So many BEAUTIFUL cards and projects to try and find words for!! I like both sets but my favorite would have to be the mini tags. They are so versitile with a lot of different sayings!

Hi Grace, This is my first time to blog hop! I made it around to see all of the 12 wonderful crafters ideas and left them messages. Only one of them didn't come back to say they got my message, so I hope it's there! I like the Vintage Set and the tags. I also liked the black and white elegance that was used. (I think it was on Betty's) They were all great!!! Thank you

One of the best blog hops ever--the stamps released this month are nothing short of superlative and BOY did the DT do them justice! I don't wanna pick a favorite, LOL, but if I have to: I'm going to say the tags, simply because of their extreme flexibility! Thanks for more wonderful stamps!

Queen Mary said...

Easy peasy question, I can answer it BEFORE I start the hop -- it's definitely the image of Mary with the sentiments -- I'm even going to buy it as a gift for a stamping friend who has never ventured beyond a certain company. The only reason I didn't buy it and the Hail Mary last night when I saw the release was because I want to see how the new border looks in real life so I can gauge what else to order! :)

Queen Mary said...

Oh Good, I'm right after myself -- this is my second post and I'm hoping it doesn't disqualify me -- I just had to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the hop and I wanted to thank all the participants, as I realized I had forgotten to do so on each individual blog. This is really an excellent release!

Favourite oh so hard.... The tea pot cards were so original, but I also loved the stunning black and white stationery.

I hopped and hopped and now I back and I have to tell you, the DT's did a wonderful job on all their projects!! I love all the stamps, If I had to pick it would be the porch stamp set, but would have to get the Vintage Border background stamp to go with it, and I guess I couldn't stop there, I would have to go ahead and get the Vintage border embossing plate!!

Karen Linarez said...

What a great hop! Your designers are the best. I so loved all the sets and the beautiful projects! It's so hard to choose my favorite, I have to pick two (at least): the porch set, since I soo love that verse, and the background and matching embossing plate because I love the ornate victorian look.

clavell said...

Completed the hop and enjoyed all the ladies card offerings. I think my comments were accepted at all the sites, but it is difficult to know since the comment registry is delayed (and it is too time consuming to go back through all :)) I love the Porch set, the Tags and the Background!!!

Finished the hop and LOVED every stop! The DT out did themselves with this new release. I think both the designers and myself love the Porch set the best! Can't wait for it's release.

I think this may have been my favorite hop yet! Ladies, I visited all of your blogs and left some love for all of your projects and cards. They seem to get better and better over time... except that I think they are the best anywhere...so how do they keep improving?

I love the porch set, that is my true favorite. I love it because it is so versatile. Let me start with the Scriptures, the most important part. I love the Scriptures that go with this, I can relate personally to all of them and they really represent my awe of Him. I am still so amazed that He chose to open my eyes to see the truth. I "stop and consider God's wonder" about that all of the time! I also like the font you chose, it seems calming to me. I do feel restored or renewed when I am in His presence and I love to read His Word or think of His amazing creations from the magnificent ocean to teeny tiny ants...while on a porch over the beach! I also like that the Scriptures can be used alone on a card!

The image reminds me of porches up north...and here over Florida's beaches. I love how this image can be colored in so many different ways...from a formal porch with a tea pot on the table...to a sandy one with a beach ball put in the corner. Different colors evoke different feelings from me...it is suitable for Sympathy Cards to Birthday cards to any kind of card!

I love the Vintage Stamp, and am so grateful that you included it with this set! It reminds me of the fences that are in Charleston and Savannah...the iron fences and gatesthat are over 100-years-old. And, if you really look closely at the design on the stamp...they look like rows of little pineapples...which they purposefully put in the old iron gates...it symbolically means "Welcome."

That is my "actual" choice...I am however, glad to see you branch out with some Catholic stamps...there are so many Catholics out there...who I am sure are looking for stamps! And, spanish stamps...perfect for you to sell! They will go like crazy here in Florida! Amazing stamps. Amazing Hop. Amazing Team. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Whew...completed the hop! I love the porch. Not only because of the stamp but how each designer made it her own. I felt as if I was sitting with each of them on their very own front porch. Thanks for a great hop!

I've left a comment on everyone's blog. The only one I had trouble with was Dina. My favorite set is "Porch". It is a reminder of relaxing and simpler times!

My fav's are always the yearly Scripture stamps that the designers pick. They are my fav's and I use them all the time for my cards. My fav picture one is the Three Crosses (New Easter Set) after all it says it all. They are the cure not just the medicine.
Keep up the good work, and thanks, for helping to share God's love!

I just finished all the blogs were just so inspiring. God always has a way to reach us no matter where we are and what we need. My hometown with my home for all my life which has a porch will probably be under water by the end of this blog hop, so God sent me to these blogs to give me good memories even though the actual house and porch will never be again. Thanks so much, it was beautiful and so meaniful to me today!

Love ya,
