July Release Blog Hop!

Hello friends of ODBD! Welcome to the July 1 release blog hop!
I hope you have had time to view the full release~  if not just scroll down one post!  We in the Bread Basket are very excited with this month's sets!

We're also excited to have some news to share! 
Joining us today as Guest Designer for the Design Team is E Marie Berquist!  Marie has been an active player in our challenges and is very talented so we know you'll be inspired by all that she will bring to ODBD for the next two months!

Also joining us today on the hop is our newest Scrapbook Team member, Lisa Somerville!  Lisa has helped out at  the ODBD booths at stamp shows and brings lots of talent and experience to the team!  We know you'll enjoy her style!

Last but most certainly not least... moving over to the Design Team from the Challenge Team is our very own Sabrina Jackson!  Sabrina needs no introduction and is a huge part of ODBD!  You'll still see her playing along in the Shining The Light Challenges, but you'll see her on the DT too! 


The Hop will run from 8am EDT July 1 until 8pm EDT July 2.
The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on July 3.

What a wonderful way to start off this holiday weekend. Great inspirations and wonderful messages. I'm most thankful for the freedom to worship as I choose and when I choose.

I couldn't leave a comment on Becca's site. Bad Response came up all 5 times I tried. She's a great inspiration to me daily, so hated to miss out with her site. Others were commenting, but I couldn't.

I think I am most grateful to have the freedom to just be me. As an African American, I'm blessed to be in a land that I can go where I want, say what I want (within reason), worship what God or religion I choose and not be persecuted for it. Freedom is not without sacrifice, so I owe my freedom to those who choose to protect it. May God bless you and this wonderful country of ours.

I finished the hop but I had a problem on Becca's blog. I tried to post but it just wouldn't do it. I am so grateful for the freedom to choose whatever way we want to worship - for the freedom to speak freely and for this beautiful country that we live in. Have finished the hop and had no troubles with anyones blog on posting comments.
So many wonderfula dn beautiful projects that everyone had done.

You ask what I'm grateful for, my list would be too long to share here.
Mainly, I'm grateful for Life, for my children,grandchildren, for the health I have in spite of many challenges, for the will that has allowed me to go on when I found myself dangling from the end of a frayed, thin rope too many times.
I'm grateful for the love and spirit that so many people share with others, and for God's Grace, which allows it all to happen.

All and all, most grateful for the right to worship as we please, where and when and also for the freedome of speech and for all those in the military fighting for our country so that we have these freedom of choices.

I am very thankful for the freedom of being in the USA-sometimes I do not stop and thank God for giving us these fine young men and women who give up their lives for us. I am most grateful for knowing that our country is what we stand for--a country that takes in those people that do not appreciate our flag. Thank you to all who have lost their lives to give us our freedom and love for the USA. Could not leave a message on Lisa and Julie's blog.

Wow a fabulous hop this morning. I was going to get my walk in first thing this morning but just couldn't keep myself from checking all the lovely cards out first...well worth it.

As for what am I grateful for, I am grateful for a God who loves me so much he sent His son to die so that I might have life. I am blessed!

I loved doing the blog hop. However, there were 5 or 6 blogs on which Blogger gave me a fit when trying to post. Chris, Sabrina, and the last 3 names before the OBD blog were troublesome. Maybe the comments will show up but they weren't as I was checking back. Sorry, I don't think it's your fault. But I did visit everyone and enjoyed it.

What great stamp set this month. I love the military stamp & flag the best. Though I want the whole bundle. I only had one problem and that was I could not see Lisa's card as everytime I tried her blog it came up blank. Will try again latter.
I am grateful for the freedom of living in this GREAT country. To be able to agree to disagree with those around me and to be able to worship freely.

I am grateful for all of our freedoms. Freedom of speech, to gather where ever we want, but I think most of all the freedom to worship how ever I want. What a great gift our forefathers granted us! I was able to finish the entire blog.

what I am most Thankful for -- Freedom of Speech. Sometimes we take this for granted, but with the Freedom of Speech, we can say what we feel about God, Religion, Sports, share our stories and our art, and on and on. So much depends on this one tennet of our country, and it encompases a great deal. Just to be able to pass on our family history and culture and belief in a living, loving God to our children would not be possible without this one essential freedom in our nation. I am thankful so much for that.

WOW! What a powerful blog this month, THANK YOU!!! I am so blessed to be living in the USA and to have all the freedoms we have, how can I choose just one? If I had to choose only one, it would have to be the freedom of religion. Just knowing I can talk with God everyday, anytime, and anywhere I want is the most precious freedom. Of course we experience so much freedom it is sometime taken for granted, but a blog like this helps to remind us just how lucky we are.

Thanks for your work everyday to bring us such wonderful products.

I could not add a comment to Becca's page nor could I get one added to Lisa's page. I tried a few times on each page but the comment did not want to take.

Inspiring and meaningful describe the patriotic stamps you have designed. What a terrific group of designers you have!
Don't know how to chose which freedom I am most thankful for since the many freedoms we have are so wonderful, just travel to other countries to see how blessed we are. Probably the freedom to worship without the government interfering is one of the most valued to me.
Thanks for all your wonderful designs and your Christian perspective.

Wow, what a trip! I found so many blog sites that are new to me. I saw way too many great card ideas. My family should be prepared for take-out meals and no house cleaning for a while...

I learned of the blog hop from Lisa's site and was glad I did! Beautiful designs from all! I tried two times to leave a comment on Becca's site and just could not. There are many freedoms I enjoy, but the freedom of choice is what I treasure the most.

This was a truly inspirational hop, thank you all, ladies! I love this flag and country. It was founded on Christianity, the majority of us are Christians, and we need to stand up and be heard. I am thankful for all of my freedoms and to the men and women who stand on a wall and make it possible. I am up in arms, pun intended, over gun ownership. It is our right, by the second amendment.

I enjoyed all the projects.I am celebrating Canada Day today so what a perfect way to celebrate both my pride and love for my country and for my neighbouring country. Thank you all. The flowers are wonderful and reminds me of many a summer day.
My only freedom that I cherish is the freedom to be 'me' - in all areas.

What a wonderful hop! I think I left footprints at every stop! What a blessing and what beautiful images are included this month! (No surprise!) The freedom that I am most thankful for is the freedom from slavery and bondage to sin; the freedom to please and obey God; the freedom that is available to people of every tribe, tongue and nation; and that is the freedom available to all who will repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ! I was really moved by all the "bloggers." Unable to leave comments on Becca & Connie's blogs, however. I am truly greatful for all my freedoms as pointed out in the Declaration of Independence. Thank you all so much for sharing your creativity with me and so many others. I thank Kelly for her generosity of supplying so many terrific prizes. I managed to make it thru the entire blog at least I think I did, but not without some challenges. I had some problems posting on Sandees and Sabrinas but was persistent and I think I prevailed!!!
As for what freedom I am most grateful for, there are too many to list but the 2 top ones would be Freedom of Speech and Freedom to Serve as my husband and I did in the USAF!! Thank you once again!

ok, i finally finished the hop. got distracted by life too many times this am and finally got back. they are all so awesome. i left comments on all. hope they took. very wonderful designers and great things for them to work with. my favorite freedom is our ability to go about our day with free movement. i am from a miltary background. in countries i have visited many citizens do not have that same luxury that we do.

I think I am most thankful for the freedom to worship God!! We have friends who are missionaries in Turkey and they struggle all the time with being careful of who they say *God* stuff to. It has made me appriciate the fact that we can talk about God when and where ever we want!!

Everyone's talent is just amazing and I got so many great ideas on some projects and cards. I feel so blessed to live in a country where we have this freedom to share, not only our talents, but encouraging others , just to make someone's day brighter. Hi, what a great start to the Independence Day Holiday! I loved all of the patriotic cards and the wonderful shadow box. I completed the Hop and I believe all comments went through. Becca's goes to a blank page but when you try again it says, "you've already said that". Julie's was a little difficult too but I think it went through.

I am grateful to be FREE! Our country is the greatest in the world. If I had to choose just one it would be, Freedom of Religion. I can worship God without fear and with that all the other freedoms follow.

The freedom I'm the most proud of: Is the freedom to be myself. I spent so many years trying to somebody else for everybody else, I didn't know who I really was. I know I can be myself and God my family loves me just for who I am.

I love all of our freedoms as Americans and it is hard to pin just one down, especially since I've never experienced anything else. It is so easy to take them for granted and not participate in protecting them so I guess my favorite is the right to vote. Wasn't able to post on Lisa's blog...I've been following her for years so was sad that I couldn't let her know on her own blog page.

I have completed the blog hop, but was unable to verify my comment left on Lisa's blog, and not able at all to open Julie's blog link. Otherwise it has been a great trip! So many talented artists, and so, lots of inspiration for cards of my own!
I am greatful for all the freedoms I enjoy. I went to school where I wanted, and worked where I chose to, and married the man I love. I had 5 kids and noone sat in judgement or worse. Most all of us complain about the taxes we must pay, but considering what all we have provided by the recipients of these funds, it still beats any alternative I know of.
Because I am a Christ follower and it is important for me to openly worship and study this God/Man, the freedom that is top on my list is the freedom to do just that - worship and study my Lord in the church of my choice.

I'm so thankful for the freedom of choice that God gave us. Yes, it has resulted in a world of sin, but He knew we could only truly love Him by giving us a choice.

The freedom we enjoy in the USA is also something we should never take for granted. Many have paid with their lives.

I am most grateful for the religious freedom we have in this country. It is hard to imagine that people have to live in fear.

Hi, I completed the hop but couldn't comment on Sandee's, Chris's, Sabrina's,Betty's and Dawn's blogs. I use the goggle acct. and it kept kicking me off and I would have to resign in, only to do it all over and over and over again, lol. I am thankful for all our freeddoms but most of all the freedom to worship openly and not have to hide!

I'm Most greateful for my husband, My kids and grandkids. God and Country. Greateful for the Freedom that my whole Military family (husband,Son's,Daughter and son in law)has given to me by fighting in war's not only for myself but for our country and their familys as well. Let Freedom ring. God Bless the USA. My husband put in 30 year's in the Navy. My Marine son put in 15 years. My Navy daughter put in 4 years. Her hubby has 14 years in the Navy and still counting. My Army son has 18 years in and counting. I also am greatful to be able to have the freedom to love all my 9 grandkids.

I couldn't leave a comment on Julie's site I'm sad I couldn't do it for she had a great layout with using the Sweet William images

I so wish I was able to buy more of Our Daily Bread stamps and things.
With being on a very very fixed income there is no money left at the end of any month for me to do so :( Hubby has been out of work now or 2 years. I have lots of health things to where I can't work. I so love all Daily Bread stamps however.

I am most grateful for freedom to worship in any way I choose. I study history and genealogy. So many people gave their lives for their beliefs. Also to "speak" freely. We are so blessed to be "Free".

I finished the blog hop. All of the creations were just fantastic. My head is spining with ideas. Now if I just had the stamps. These would be good to use for Veterans Day as well. I am thinking of how of the Sunday School kids could use them as a service projest for Veteran's Day.
The freedom I ammost thankful for is to worship without fear.

I'm most grateful for the freedom to freely worship, which we still have in this country. So many of our brothers/sisters around the world don't have this freedom.

We have so very many freedoms in America that i am concerned we take most of them for granted. so for me the freedom of choice is very import:
freedom of choice to worship the way we want
freedom of choice to choose the job we want
freedom of choice to live where want
freedom of choice to go to school - college or and even private or parochial or public school in younger years
freedom to vote for whom we want
and the list of the freedoms we have does go on and on.

I also had trouble commenting on Becca's blog - eventually I was able to do but it took several tries.

This was better than any fireworks celebration I have ever seen. What a great way to celebrate our Freedom. I must add that I am so grateful for my Freedom to worship Christ and for the Freedom that so many courageous men and women have fought to give us. Both Jesus and Soldiers have given their ALL for us and that makes me so so grateful and humble! What a wonderful FREE gift we have been given! We just have to receive it! It is too hard to pick one Freedom. I think America gives me so many freedoms-especially as a woman-education, religion, voting, etc...

great inspiring projects and now I have some additional ideas to use.
Thank-you to ODBD for bringing us spiritual products that allow

I am very thank-ful to have won the birth lottery by being born in
America and for the Declaration of Independence, that was ratified
on July 4th, 1776. It contains the most important sentence being:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created
equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain
unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the
pursuit of Happiness.” I am most grateful for the right to live
under religious freedom. It's amazing how the Founders of America were able to have the courage to stand up to injustice & oppression & fight for our freedom so long ago. More amazing is our military men & women & their families have also given us that same sacrifice. My sincerest heartfelt THANKS to them all. God Bless America as we are unified together in celebration of our freedom and our nation's birthday.

I am thankful to live in a country that allows me to be a Christian!!!

I just finished the hop and thoroughly enjoyed every card and creation by such a fantastic design team. My favorite was the patriotic shadow box.

The only site I had difficulty leaving a comment on was "McStampin' Dusk 'til Dawn". I went back a couple of hours after initially trying to leave a comment and it finally allowed me to do so.

Sorry for my late post, we have been out of power for the past 2 days. Better late than never. I completed the hop and loved each and everyone of the ladies creations. These are some fantastic new stamp sets.

I am grateful for so many things that it is impossible to list just one. I am grateful for all the many blessings that God has given me. (my 3 beautiful daughters, my loving husband, and just for loving me.)

I look forward to next month to see what AWESOME new stamp sets you will be showcasing. I can not wait to add some of these to my collection.
