I hope you have had time to view the full release~  if not just scroll down one post!  We in the Bread Basket are SUPER excited with this month's sets!

We want to thank E Marie for Guest Designing with us for July and August!  She certainly inspired and blessed us!

Joining the  Design Team today on the hop is Gemiel , our newest Scrapbook Team member, and Lori from the Challenge Team!  Lisa from our Scrapbook Team is also joining us with something special to share.
Thanks for joining us ladies!

Here are the Hop Details:

The Hop will run 8am EDT Sept. 1 til 8pm EDT Sept 2.
The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Sept 3.
There will be Five  prizes!
Five blessed winners will be randomly selected to win a $15.00 Gift Certificate toward stamps at the ODBD Store, good for 6 months!

Here is what you have to do to be qualified to win one of these prizes:
  • Hop to each designer’s blog and leave a comment
  • Return here to the Our Daily Bread designs blog and leave a comment telling us that you completed the hop, making note if there were any you could not comment on.
  • Answer the question below  in your comment here on the ODBD blog
Can you feel the change in the air?  Fall is just around the corner here in the USA, and after what has been a very hot summer, I think most of us are ready for those cooler days, beautiful fall colors, and crisp cool nights!  So grab a  cuppa java and hop with us as we share our creations using the September sets!

Here is the order for the hop:

The Question:
This month, many of our sets have to do with seeds!  The Bible has much to say about planting and reaping!

Gal. 6:7 " Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."

So here is the question to answer below when you leave your comment that you completed the hop:

Is there someone in your life who has sown special seed that has greatly influenced your life or have YOU sown special seed in someone else’s life that greatly influenced them? We’d love to have you share if so!

Another great release...I am so excited about the seed packet stamp! I visited all of the designers and left comments...what a talented, creative group!!!

Of course my family has greatly influenced me but I have also been inspired by the true power of the random acts of kindness... spreading God's love.

Last week I returned a wallet full of money and credit cards to an incredulous and appreciative college student. Yesterday, the kindness was returned by Jerome, a stranger who stopped and fixed my flat tire for me in a pretty rough neighborhood. He didn't want anything from me but to continue to spread love in the world. What power we hold in our hands to take a few extra moments and extend an unexpected kindness to someone in need.

Just finished the rounds, and the ladies did such a fabulous job on this new release.

A choir director years ago planted the seeds of the love of Jesus in me.
When I was lost in the world, unsaved, this women would see me and always run up to me and hug and kiss me and told me how much she loved me, I did not know her personally, only that she was the choir director of Community Baptist Church. But the love of Christ that flowed out of her to me over the years just broke me to surrendering to this awesome wonder Jesus Christ, that gave her so much love to love some one so unlovely as me.

WOW - the blog hop went by so fast, I had to double-check that I visited all the participants. What a creative & unique group :-)

I hope that I have 'planted the seeds' with teens that I volunteer with through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Every child is a blessing.

Everyone did such a fabulous job in this hop! All I can say is WOW what a great design team.

My mother has been my inspiration and the reason I am serving the Lord. She has always been there, prayed for me when I was not in line with God, and hugged me when it was needed. She inspired me to always follow God regardless

I've hopped to every blog - could not post on Gemiels blog for whatever reason. You guys have just outdone yourself with this one. Love to see all the creativity God has inspired each one of you with.
My dad was a preacher so the seeds were diffently sown into our lives, however now that I am a mother and grandmother I had no choice but to sow the same seeds of Jesus' love to mine. My twin grandchildren are 8 and they have no problem spreading the Love of Jesus with their Friends. It's amaing how Bold they are for Christ at such an early age. May this spirit carry on to the next generations.

I have had a great time visiting all the blogs and leaving a comment. They were all awesome with some clever use of the stamp sets.

I am following the Lord daily and have been doing so for the past 50 odd years. We are heavily involved in our Christian family.

I so enjoyed the hop this morning but could not post of Gemiels blog. And I so loved her page too. I love how she probably best exemplified the inspiration question for today. AWANAS is a great program for planting seeds in young ones.

For years, I have had a ministry of blessing young couples who could not afford a fancy wedding. God has continued to put me in craft stores and garage sales at just the right moment to accumulate varied supplies and I have been so blessed thru this. I have never been compensated monetarily but I just love doing it. However last week, I got called very spur of the moment to help some folks I did not know. I spent two very long days out in the Texas sun and it turned out beautifully.
I have long desired to have some proper scrapbooking storage as most of my stuff is in plastic containers from Wal-Mart. Well, when I got to my car after the wedding, even though I told the family I did not charge, there was an envelope with enough money to purchase ALOT of modular cubes from Michaels. I had been looking at them for some time and when I went on my shopping spree, Michaels was running a 40% off sale. Is God good all the time. I wish you could see a pic of my BEAUTIFUL space. You can NEVER outgive the Lord. Then, as if that wasn't blessing enough, when I went back the next day to help them break down all the decorations, which they had purchased, they gave them all to me to help further my ministry. I thought I was going to "do the blessing" here and yet this family I didn't know just blessed my socks off and inspired me to continue my ministry.

There are many people who have sown seeds in my life that God has used to grow beautiful "flowers". Most recently I have been able to join with 3 other women in a sharing and prayer time. During our times together we not only share our problems, concerns, hurts, but also are able to share with each other from God's word. This group is such an encouragement and has added a new demention to my life. I am so thankful f or each of these precious women! God IS faithful, and loves us so much. This is just one small example of his love. Already He has used our time together to grow a beautiful "garden".

I just love all the creative people that I saw today. I couldn't leave a comment on Lisa's blog tried several times.

I think I have had an influence on several people. I'm told I have. I have had cancer several times and I'm still here, I have MS and I work hard every day to be able to live life fully as is intented. I know I have not gotten through any of this without the great power of prayer and haveing faith that I would get through it, beleiveing that we are never given more than we can handle.
If someone had told me a short time ago that I would be living at the beach and body surfing with my grandchildern I would have thought no way. But that's just what I did this summer. I totaly trust that I am not in charge, he is.

Kudos to the Design team, they did an awesome job displaying the many ways to use the delightful new stamps :)

I would like to honor my dad with influencing my life. He was a man of his word and a handshake was all he needed from anyone, he taught me that God's love and trust can move mountains :)

I have been through the hop and you ladies have done such an awesome job. Lots of cards, projects and a layout. I will be doing a lot of scrap lifting. Thanks for the hop.

Someone in my life who has sown special seed that has greatly influence me is my dear mom. My mom is an awesome woman. Every day I can call upon her she always have great advice. She knows when things are wrong. She always asks is everything okay. Most important is she’s always there for my girls. No matter what going on she has taught me to stand firm on your dreams and no matter what trust GOD.

Wow - great blog hop, with some fabulous new stamps and dies. I was able to comment on each and every one.

When I think of seeds I think of how in order for a plant to spring forth into life the seed has to cease being a seed....it opens up and brings forth a new creation. That makes me think of Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
In everyday life we never know when we may be planting a seed...all we can do is live out our faith through kindness and love to one another - and it isn't always easy being kind to some people, some people just seem unloveable, which is when we need to stop and remember how we need to love them even more! If I can step out of myself I may be planting a seed and then I am trusting God to provide the living water it needs to grow.

Love all the creativeness in each of the blogs. Couldn't post on Gemeil's blog. I have trouble with some of the and have to used the anonymous option. She did not have that option.

I have a very close friend who has sown seeds in my life and I am still reaping that harvest. She's the kind of friend that will tell me the truth because she loves me that much and I love her for that!

Great new releases!

I lost one of my sisters several years ago to ovarian cancer. She was a wonderful Christian woman, and in her honor I have tried to perform an act of kindness to at least one person each day. It can be as small an act as smiling to a stranger who looks unhappy. When they smile back, I like to think I made a little difference in his/her life and perhaps the smile will continue to grow!

WOW! This might just be one of my favorite Releases!! The seed set is so versatile! Your DT is so inspiring, I love all the ideas I got just by looking :)

My Dad was the biggest encouragement, teacher and blessing in my life up until 4 years ago, when God called him home. And I drifted around in life, until I met my friends JoAnn & Sheri who has breathed new life into me and have really encouraged me to grow in God. I thank God for all of them in my life, because I really needed it! :)

Hugs to the Breadsticks and ODBD Team, including those out front and in the barn! Another beautiful set and I think I left comments at all the stops. . I tried!

May the Lord give us grace to sow His good seed in the lives of others that they may come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior! I was blessed to have a second grade teacher who faithfully sowed seeds, though they lay dormant for years, but others watered and the Lord, in His good time, brought the harvest! She is now with Him in glory, but I am most thankful for her faithfulness and love for the Lord and the lost.

Wow! Would I love to win and get some of your wonderful stuff. I saw so many things I would like to CASE.

My mother's mother: not even 5 feet tall, raised 11 children (8 of them boys), wife of a farmer, tobacco grower and horse whisperer... she was my great influence. She was quietly close to God, never raised her voice, always gentle and non-judgmental, neat as a pin everyday in her starched cotton dresses from Sear's catalogue and a pretty starched apron. She taught me, without saying a word, how to have a personal relationship with God.

What greater influence could anyone be?

What an amazing blog hop I just took! The talent pool is so rich and the creations are all so gorgeous.

My grandmother enriched me with the love of God and my Christian lifestyle. She truly believed and lived a Christian life and the seeds she planted over 60 years ago, still grow in my heart. I have passed her seeds along to newer generations in our family and I pray with each seed, they understand the value of the this gift.

This is my first visit here and my first blog hop...and it was so much fun!!! So many talented ladies and such beautiful work. I am encouraged and blessed by all of you. Thank you all for sharing your creativity.

My dear sister-in-law would be the seed planter in my life. She prayed for many years for me to give my life over to the Lord and in August 1993 I did just that and I have never been the same since. I love the Lord with all my being and I love serving Him.

ladies, i just finished this awesome bloghop!

everytime i am thinking, i couldn't be more inspired like the last time...and everytime i am looking at those creations, i am overwhelmed by the creativity of you wonderful sisters in christ!

god bless you so much for your heartwarming inspirations!

to answer your question:

my personal life was deeply influenced by my beloved mum...
she died many years ago...i admire her so much for her lovely character, her positive way of even the hardest times in her life, and what she made out of it...
she never had given up, no matter, how hard the times have been...she always had an open ear to everyone and tried to understand the heart of a person and gave good advices.

she had to face the loss of my beloved daddy and kept on being warm-hearted and open and sweet...a woman of great courage, in a tender way...
she gave her heart to christ, some months before she died, just like my dad, who was also a wonderful man...

thank god, my parents got saved before they died...

i admire the courage of them, they had to face most of the time of their lifes without knowing christ, and they were so grateful for his redeemer-grace...

it is still bringing tears to my eyes...

keep on praying for the lost, dear sisters...it is never too late!

hugs and kisses from germany,
silvi xoxo

Wonderful blog hop. So many beautiful creations and good ideas. I really like the Seeds sentiments. It is hard to pick a special seed that has inspired me. There are so many. My Mom and Dad of course and my Grandmother. I will also include all of my friends as they all have contributed. One special little girl named Becca really got me back with talking with God. She had aplastic anemia and fought a long hard battle. Though she did not make it she inspired many of us and will never be forgotten.

My Aunt Betsy has had the most impact on me in my Christian life. When my youngest son was about 2 he called her Uncle Betsy because Uncle Tommie's name was "Uncle" so he just assumed. It has been her name now for 25 years. Great person. I did complete the hop. Thank you for letting me participate.

I have finished the hop and I was inspired by the designs that these lovely ladies have done and cannot wait to try some of these designs on my projects.

My sister-in-law Kim is a blessing from god, she continues to find the good in everything she does and in every person she meets. I truly look up to her and I follow in her footsteps in the same manner, finding the good in everything that comes my way.

Thank you and have a great day!

Another wonderful blog hop.
One thing that continues to amaze me is to hear from women who have benefited by my planting some seeds of kindness or wisdom in their lives when they were young girls or even young moms. Not to my credit - to God be all the Glory. Often, I was not even aware that they were receptive of what I said or did but any act of kindness or words of wisdom done by the Spirit will be powerful and bear fruit. PTL

Finished leaving my comments on all the blogs. What wonderful variety!

There are so many people who have planted seeds in my life. One that comes to mind is a boss I had in my early 20s. I laugh about it now, but at the time, he wanted me to take on a job that scared me to death! I just didn't know if I could do it or not. I was really shy at the time and it involved calling officers at various businesses. He was really patient with me. He didn't push me, but he didn't let go either - he made it clear that he wanted me to do it,but he would let me do it in my own time. And I did. And that one little act of patience showed me what I was capable of.

I have just done hopping to all the blog. I am in love with all you ladies cards. Thank you so much for sharing and I thank the Lord for all of you.

There are two people who had great influence in my life. My mothe & father. Prayer & loving others ( even the those you don't want to love) is a must in our family menu. Growing up they not only TOLD me but they SHOWED me what true Christian love is. There are many good things we did that are never appreciated, but they told me not to stopped doing good, for the Lord is watching from up above with tender love. The reward is not down here but up above.
Most of my adult days :) I have no problem doing what I have been doing because everytime I want to do bad :) I can hear my parent voice telling me "The Lord is watching from up above with tender love".

What a though provoking question....
Everyone has been influenced by many people and has in turn influenced others in there life. I'm no different from everyone else, there are to many to mention them all.... But my Mom has been the most influential person for me. If I turn out to be half the woman she is I'll be pleased with myself. And of course I'm sure I have put some though into other people too along the way. Thanks for making us think of this today... it was rather nice to ponder.
Now this new stamp set.... I just cant wait to see the whole thing... !

All of these blog hops are so much fun but I have to say this has to have been one of my favorites. So much creativity and such diversity in it. Thank you all for your inspiration, but more than that, I think each of these designers have planted seeds here tonight in the lives of many of us. I don't just mean from a crafting perspective. I could actually feel love and caring coming from each of these projects. I think each designer had someone in their mind and heart as they developed these projects. I know that you all have definitely opened my heart tonight. Thank each of you and ODB for this.

The hop was fantastic; all the designers projects were great. (I was unable to see Julie's though). Early in my christian walk, a friend, Nancy, showed me (by living it out) the power and importance of praying about everything - big and small. My DH has been the greatest impact though; he knows what I need (encouragement, or discipline, or teaching, etc.) Thanks for the hop

I was able to comment on each designers blog. They all did a wonderful job utilizing the new ODB releases. Your blog hops are so inspiring and uplifting.

My father sowed many seeds in my life until he passed away late last year. As I gardened this spring and summer, and reflected on all those memories, as difficult as it was and still is at times, I realized how amazingly lucky I am to have had his guidance throughout my life. Even now his spirit remains with me as I plant each seed and harvest each flower. My daily prayer would be that in whatever I do they will be good "seeds" planted with beautiful "flowers" harvested. Blessed beyond measure I am, Always and forever a child that wishes to make their earthly father proud, and their heavenly Father pleased.

Heidi said...

Oh that was fun, just some wonderful flowery things and fabulous gift ideas. The girls did a great job.

As for a influence I would have to say my mother. She is the type of woman that gives, gives and gives of herself, her time, and her talents. She doesnt expect anything, many times gets nothing but when she does- she is gratious and humbled. Not only that- she is a gardener..... I wonder if they have anything to do with one another? :)

Wow!! The design team were certainly showing their best ideas for this hop. So many amazing, creative uses for these new images. I thoroughly enjoyed each project and left some well deserved love. As for the question, my mother planted so many wonderful seeds in my life. I am always reminded by her words that everything we do in life should show other's the love of God. Her life certainly was the perfect example. She also reminded us that we might not even know what seeds we plant and what lives we might touch and how God has used us. I pray that my life sets the same example and can be used by God to plants seeds every day.

What an amazing release! Just completed the hop and the DT truly outdid themselves!

Autumn is my very favorite season. I just love the rich colors, the sound of leaves crunching underfoot, and the smell of upturned earth. Even though most of nature is 'going to sleep' for the winter, the promise of spring makes me smile. I am getting to the age now where many of my older relatives are in the 'autumn' of their lives and I often find myself smiling as I think of what a wonderful promise awaits us all.

What wonderful work by the design team ladies! Truly inspirational!

My youngest child of 30, just accepted Christ as her saviour a few months ago. She never wanted to hear "all that God talk" from my husband or I, so we didn't push it. She had a baby two years ago, and has recently gotten divorced, a nasty one, but she's made it through it, and if she could accept Jesus right in the middle of all that, what else can He do? My husband and I agreed that the only thing we could do so as not to push her away, was to just lead by example. My husband and I have been closer lately because of something I did, and he forgave, and Jesus kept me safe, and she has seen how we have been loving each other in Christ, and with God as the head of our household and family. It does my heart good to hear her talk about things in such a Godly way! It does His heart good, too! :)

I have visited each blog. The blogs that had a drop down to select google was a real problem. I finally had to leave an anonymous comment on them. I wish they had a set-up like Becca's. Works great for the google account. No issues at all.
The great influence probably is my husband. We met and within 7 weeks were married. He has always taken care of me through all my major illnesses and they said it would not last. Ha ha I had the last laugh as it has been 45 years this last month and we are still going strong. I thank my god above everyday for my love.

What a blessing it was to see the wonderful creations of the designers! I love the new stamp sets and see so many possiblities to use them.

My Godly mother had the most influence on me to set me solidly on my faith walk. She taught me to plant those seeds along life's pathway, spreading God's love to everyone we meet. I have been richly blessed and pray that the seeds that I plant each day will be nurtured by the Lord until they mature in hearts and lives of the people I have encountered.

Just finished the hop and left a comement at each place. It was so much fun and I loved seeing all the great talent these ladies shared with us.

I have been influenced by the scriptures, and my Saviors example. I have learned When you are in the service of your fellow man you are in the service of your God. I love to see the random acts of kindness that show that service. I have watched it in my husband, my parents, my grandmother, my aunt and my sister who all have had a special knack for this. Always finding ways to be of service to others in their daily lives.

My Sunday School teacher when I was 12 or so sewed some seeds of Faith in my life - I already believed in God but she told of how He and his Son was personal in her life. Also a friend of mine in primary school helped water that seed, as did many others!

My Mother was my Inspiration. When she passed on I lost my way.
But soon found my way back with the help and love of my teenage son and daughter.

This was a great blg hop.

What a great blog hop! I so enjoyed the many gifted ladies and their ideas.
I have a lady that I care for from my church. She is such an inspiration to everyone that she comes in contact with. She has to have blood work done weekly and a transfusion at least every other week. Instead of complaining, and becoming discouraged, she makes friends with everyone that she comes in contact with. She sings to them shares scripture, and "plants the seeds of God's love". She is 87 years old. I just can't help but admire her. She leaves everyone with a smile.

Great blog hop.
I would say it wasn't a single person but a radio station that led me to Christ when I was in my 20's. My husband always had this radio station playing so actually maybe I should give him the credit.

I love, love loved this blog hop...as always! Your designers always amaze and inspire me with their beautiful projects and ideas. Thank you to all of them and to you for collecting them all together.
My aunt was one of my most inspiring people in my life. Although she is gone now, she did so much more for me than I think she could ever have known. Her faith in God and her kindness she showed to everyone has been a life long inspiration for me.

I loved all the projects, they were inspiring and incredible! ;)

My grandmother planted eternal seeds in me. I know she loved me because I was her granddaughter...but she also told me constantly how much she loved Jesus...and it SHOWED. When Jesus saved me...it all became clear to me. She was showing me Jesus' love. I miss her terribly...but I have more now...I have JESUS like she had Jesus. I know she RAN to Him. I am grateful for her prayers/love for me, and passion for Him. ;)

The new release for September is great, and your design team did wonderful and creative things with them.

There are so many people who have planted seeds in my life that it is hard to pick just one. Both my mother and maternal grandmother helped be blossom into the person I am today by demonstrating the importance of God and family in life. I also had a high school teacher that believed in me, and help me realize that I could achieve great things in a field that was mostly dominiated by males at the time.

great blog hop and love the new release.

Being a single parent of four kids, one of which is handicapped, I have had many so many friends and family that have been there for me. I have been blessed through some hard times but it always seemed to work out.

A fantastic hop! I can't wait for my new stamps to arrive!

My husband is really trying to follow the words of Christ and be a good, loving head of our household. He inspires me to do all I can to follow God in everything I do. We have two wonderful children, which have grown from seeds, and I love being a child of God, one of the grapes on His grapevine, grown from His seed.

I believe that my beautiful, wonderful children are the seeds that my husband and I have sown.

Blog hop was great, such talent and creativity!!
I have found in life that the more seeds ones sows, the more one reaps and fuller harvest.

I completed the great variety of ideas for this wonderful fall collection. I love that variety. My parents planted many important seeds, raising me in a rural setting with little money but lots of love and hard work on our hard scrabble farm. We've just sold the family home for which I am the 6th generation, so many thoughts and thanks go ouit to those seeds and deep roots that were so carefully sown years ago.

Thank you very much for such a beautiful tour.
In my early 40s, I met a man who changed my life forever. I had been a sunday school teacher but had left the church when I moved to another country for several years. When I returned home, got married and started a family, I felt that something was missing out of my life. So I started searching, and was directed on to "The Path of Return". I learned the love is the only Way, and that resentment, envy and pride can be our greatest barriers. I learned also to forgive. It was after a minister that I had met, planted the seeds when he suggested that I should think about a career in counselling. I was led towards that profession and for 20 plus years I was able to spread the word. Now retired, I am a member of our local Hospice Society. Thank you for such a great Blog Hop!

Lots of very nice projects. I was involved in the ministry of Awana for 20 years so hopefully have helped plant seeds of the gospel through that.
Thanks for setting up the blog hop to share w/ your creative talented people.

wow, i am always so inspired by your new stamps and dies and by your dt. every one of them creates such fabulous projects. i'm pretty sure i left comments at each blog, but i didn't take the time to go back and check each one.

this is a great question. i know God has held me in His hands all my life, even when i strayed away for a time in my youth. He has consistently put His saints into my life planting seeds and watering and fertilizing as i have continued to grow in my walk with Him.

i don't picture myself as one who plants the seeds but as one who does the watering, sort of like the little cracked water jug (in that story that has been around the net) that leaks a little water on the seeds that have been sown along the path as he's being carried from the stream to the garden. those random acts of kindness, a smile, letting someone go ahead of you in line at the store, helping a child or an elderly person. anyway thank you.

I just finished the hop and have loved all the wonderful projects. Ladies, you have done a great job. I am loving the stamps too.

My mother-in-law has sown seeds for me. She is such a sweet christian and is so encouraging. She has influenced so many around her. Her eyes are always on the Lord. I am always encouraged to keep on the right track because of her influence.

Enjoyed seeing everyone's posts today. I was not able to leave a post on one blog, I forgot which one, either Gemiel or the one right before hers. I was taken to the list of posts, but didn't see an opportunity to post.
LOVE the release, I'm never disappointed!
