Week 1 {ODBDLYLS10} Scrapbook Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to ODBD's October Let Your Light Shine Scrapbook Challenge! We have a fun challenge for you this month but first we get to look back at September's Challenge. We had a rush of entries at the end of the month for our September Let Your Light Shine Challenge, and I was very excited to see all of your pages using ODBD stamps and vellum! So, with those entries, let's look at our winners for September.

The Winners
I am so excited to share that Gini Cagle is the winner of our $20 Gift Certificate for the September Let Your Light Shine Scrapbook Challenge. I love how she used the ODBD Sweet William set to make her gorgeous vellum flowers all over the layout. Great use of the ODBD set and challenge, and huge congrats to you, Gini. Please e-mail Kelley at kelley@ourdailybreaddesigns.com for more information on how to claim your gift certificate.

And for our Let Your Light Shine Award winner we have Juna Christian. Another great layout and use of vellum!

Please be sure you both grab the Shining the Light Award Badge and display it with pride. Please link the badge to http://ourdailybreaddesigns.com/. Congratulations to both of you, and thank you to those of you that played along in September. It was great to see what you did with the challenge!

The October Challenge
This month, we thought it would be fun to have another sketch challenge. If you are new to scrapbooking, sketches are great to use. Also, if you missed my post on how I create my scrapbook pages, you can see it here. It may be useful to some of you! And now, your challenge for October is to: create a layout of any size using ODBD stamps and the sketch below. Have fun with it! Turn it, add more than two photos, make a journaling box, etc. There are so many fun things to do with a sketch!

Today, I am excited to share our inspiration for you using this sketch. I really kept the sketch "as is" and did not change anything. The design was perfect for these two photos of one of my daughters. :)
