I loved the hop and left some love for everyone. My favorite memory is candy cane cookies, mostly butter with frosting and crushed candy canes on the top. YUM!! I've tried making them but mine are just not as good as my mom's were.

I've just completed the hop and am in awe of all the creative ideas I've seen. You ladies rock!! The stamps are amazing! I especially love the snowman and trees, this is one set I definitely NEED, LOL! I do lots of baking at Christmas time but my favorite baked item has always been my mother's custard pie. Unfortunately, mine don't turn out like hers. Hugs, Sarah

Hope I get to win at least one thing! Never win much.:(

Wonderful hop ladies, all the cards and projects were just fabulous. I am loving this new window die set. Hope I win. :)

coming from the south, my favorite is pink velvet cake my grandmother use to make, no matter how much I try it never tastes the same.

And congratulations Teresa for being on the ODB team, they couldn't have picked a sweeter person.

What a fantastic hop for this month of November. Each creation was a new breathe of fresh air.
I was able to leave a comment on each persons site...yea!!!!!
My favorite memory from my Mom was waking up to the smell of Sweet potato pie baking in the oven. You could taste all the ingredients in your sleep.
Happy Holidays to all!

I did all the blog hops, and my favorite kind of holiday baking is gingerbread boys. It's a tradition at our house.

Clare said...

Hi! I completed the hop, and what fabulous projects from each lady! Beautiful!

My parents were stationed in Germany right after WWII, so they brought back German cookie recipes that I still use today. Although my parents are with Jesus, these recipes live on! My favorite is the anise-flavored Pizzelles! Another is a rock hard cookie that is delicious dunked in anything, called Springerle. My other favorite is Hamen Taschen, which is a very light and flaky dough filled with apricot filling, shaped into triangles, baked and sprinkled with powdered sugar. These are heaven! If you want the recipes, I'll be happy to share them!

Wonderful hop, fabulous cards and projects. My favorite holiday food in my Mom's fudge. I've never tasted any that was better than hers. It's a treat every year and special because that's the only time she makes it. In the same pan she's made it for over 50 years. Can't wait to go home this year and have some.

Diana said...

This was a very inspirational hop - one of my favorite things to make at holiday time is a gift box for friends that is full of tasty candies and cookies.

Susan said...

This was a humbling blog hop for sure! so many talented people sharing their work! Just amazing..the creativity and execution was a joy to behold. And humbling, as I said. I finished the blog and left a comment on each!

My favorite holiday treat was my mom's cinnamon pecan rolls anad her spritz cookies!! Can't choose between the two so you're getting both! I can smell them baking right now.

Thank you so much for sharing and the opportunity to win!

Fabulous cards and projects! I'm really loving the snowman window scenes. It's become the tradition in our family for me to bake all kinds of different Christmas cookies and mail boxes out to the rest of the family in other parts of the country in time for Christmas eve. Then we set out a big plate of every kind of cookie and just relax and spend time together. We usually have a couple dozen different kinds of cookies every year, but I think my fondest memories are still of the ones my Mom made for us as kids. I think our childhood memories are always the best!

Wonderful blog hop. Lots of great ideas using wonderful stamps. I have fallen in love with the windows stuff.
I had no problem with leaving comments. Went as easy as pie.
My favorite baking memory is making 12 to 15 batches of cookes for gift giving. My red/green butter cookes were always the first gone and who can say that Toll House cookies don't bring back memories.

Great hop - so many beautiful designs. Of course they were working with some mighty nice stamps!!

As for Christmas baking there are two things that I absolutely have to bake for my family! Both are recipes from my mother in law. Butter cookies and Kolachki's - The first (butter cookies) I bake and hide so I have some left for Christmas and the second (kolachki's) I make with various toppings - some cherry, some raspberry and many almond flavored ones. Now I am hungry thinking about them!

Omega said...

This was so much fun, I just finished my first blog hop and left comments on each blog. I enjoyed all the beautiful creations. I'm new to card-making and learning so much from all the awesome designers & other blog hoppers.
My favorite baked memories are a cookie bar (can't remember the name of it) but it had graham-cracker crust, chocolate chips & coconut with walnuts...delicious!
Have a Blessed day everyone!

Lillian Child said...

Every year my family looks forward to my grandmother's homemade divinity recipe that was passed down to me so many years ago. When I make it, I can't help but remember all those many holidays when she and I would be at the stove beating up this delightful confection.

I was unable to leave a comment on Lori's post, but what sweet creativity!

LaDawn said...

Wow, what a wonderful job. I loved all the creations. Patter's page was so cute with the snowmen especially since she doesn't get much snow. Every card was wonderful and great ideas from each and every one of you ladies. My favorite memory is actually with my children we make Christmas cookies and have a great time doing it. I love making a new memory with them each year. Thanks for all the creations.

Just so made my day. This set does rock and roll out of the park. I would love it. Loved all the hoppers projects. My favorite memory is making (and eatting) homemade divinity with a whole pecan on top. Also another fav of mine is sugar cookies with icing on them. I don't bake much anymore as my kids are grown, but I still like to eat all the Christmas food! Great time of year to celebrate the Greatest Gift ever! Jesus!!

Fab hop, ODBD team! Baking -- not my forte. However, I make a mean German Chocolate Cake that my SIL just loves. In terms of memories in the kitchen, I'd have to go with pot roast and/or Sauerbraten. Can you smell it cooking now???

One of my favorite memories in the kitchen at Christmas time was making Martha Washington Balls. In a nutshell---they are coconut/butter/eagle brand milk/pecans rolled and dipped in sweetened dark chocolate/parafin mixture----my mom makes them the best of all!! :)
I got to comment on each and every blog!!! Hallelujah!!!

I've completed the blog hop and loved everyone's card or creation! There are so many talented people out there. My favorite bake goods that my mother makes during the holiday is her carmel three layer cake, no one can make it as good as my mother can.

Cook22 said...

That is one fabulous release this time round, and I tend to be picky about my Christmas stamps. Love the window, love the baking scene, the sweet snowman, those gorgeous ornaments. I think I was able to leave a comment on all the blogs.
Favourite baking - mince pies are a hands-down winner. We've always made our own mincemeat using a recipe from an old Canadian cookbook. I could easily eat half a dozen when they're fresh out of the oven.

Robyn said...

What an inspiring hop! Ladies, your work is all out of this world wonderful. Guess that is what happens when you all are inspired by God and follow His design for your life!
My great grandma made the best crispy sugar cookies and I love to taste them. Try as I might, they are never the same as the memory. But, my grandma (her daughter) told me they were every bit as good!! I for sure need the baking set, I have a great photo of Grandma taking cookies out of the oven...MMMM I can smell them cooking.

Marsha said...

Every ODBD blog hop is fabulous and this was no exception. Beautiful.
My Grandma was German and my Grandpa was from Norway so she baked special things from both countries. I always bake Julekaga (Stolen). It would not be the holidays without it.

Cheryl S. said...

As always, I really enjoyed every stop on the hop. Thank you, ladie, for sharing your creativity with us and I have left messages at each stop.
My favorite Christmas baking from my mother was making the dough for sugar cookies, cutting out the shapes and adding all the little sprinkles and candies when the cookies came out of the oven. I have carried this tradition on with my own children and am waiting for my grandchildren to be old enough to participate. It is always a fun family time with lots of love and laughter.

Bee Jay said...

Such talent - fabulous hop! Loved my visits to everyone. My favourite Christmas baking is a traditional Christmas cake - in fact I'm just about to get started on mine right now - of course I'm 'down under' so I'm not up in the middle of the night! LOL Blessings to your wonderful team!

What a fantastic blog hop, I thoroughly enjoyed all the beautiful creations. My favorite item to bake and so work intensive is an old fashioned fruitcake because it is my DH's favorite. I learned from his mother before she passed away - she used to send him one at Christmas when he was away from home in the Air Force.

Great Hop. Loved all the projects. So much talent. Now I need to stop hopping and start stamping.
As to the baking, my fav. dish, handed down through several generations of Mennonite ladies, is not baking but is the cottage cheese crepes (I am sure there is a traditional name for these but I do not know it, and all the other generations are gone now.) You will always find it on the table along with the turkey and dressing. And you know there are NO calories in it!! (LOL)

Thanks for the great hop. Very inspiring. My favorite memory is not really baking, but candy making. My mom and my daughter and I would spend an entire day making candy (and some other things) for our annual family Christmas. We'd get crazy and laugh alot. Wonderful times, great memories.

Loved the hop. Everyone did a fantastic job. Left some love for everyone. My favorites are divinity candy and sausage balls. However, I don't make either one of them. My mom usually does.

Thanks for doing the hop and giving us a chance to win! I enjoyed each and every one of the lovely blogs. My favorite memory is of my Mom making fruit cakes in her big pressure cooker. She is 88 now and no longer able to bake. Boy, how I miss those wonderful moist fruitcakes!

Kim H said...

Wonderful blog hop, with lots of inspiring creations. I was able to comment on all the blogs. My absolute favorite baking memory is the baking of homemade chocolate chip cookies. You knew that Christmass was right around the corner when we would get the ingredients gathered for the cookies, and start baking dozens and dozens.

Wonderful blog hop. I really love this months new releases. I loved everything I saw. What a talented group of women!!! I will keep my fingers crossed that I will be one of the blessed winners. My favorite memory is baking with my grandkids it doesn't matter what we bake. I just enjoy spending those precious moments with them.

Vickie said...

your team is the best! your stamps are beautiful i love seeing how the same stamps can be used in so many different ways. My favorite memory is of my dad collecting black walnuts on our vacations to Virginia so my mom could make black walnut fudge for Christmas.

Cheryl said...

Amazing...every month I can't imagine how the DT could do any better and you ladies just continue to bless and inspire!

I just love this entire release - I want them all!

Every year my sisters and I get together and spend a weekend baking Christmas cookies. We make hundreds, which we deliver to local families through our churches (don't worry we keep some at home for our dh's lol). We each bring a list of what we want to make and some basic ingredients. My favorite thing about the tradition is the blessed time with my sisters.

Vicky said...

What a great job everyone did & good ideas for Christmas. I completed the Blog Hop.
Many years ago I got tired of the same breakfast so I decided to make up a coffee cake. Now every Christmas my family expects the cake to eat at my house & one to bring home. Even my grandchildren wait for the cake. And I love making it for them.

So sorry that the hop has already come to an end. After visiting and commenting on each blog. I am full of inspiration and ready to shop for new stamps!

My favorite baking memory is making Russian Tea Cakes...sometimes called Snowballs. Buttery goodness rolled in powdered sugar!

Becky Dunham said...

What an amazing hop! Of course your hops are always full of such fabulous eye candy - your DT and your products are just mind-blowing! I think this is one of my favorite Christmas releases yet. My favorite baked goody at this time of year would have to be gingerbread - gingerbread cake or cookies - doesn't matter, I love it all. Another thing I always make, taking over for my hubby's grandmother, is peanut brittle - not really baking but another favorite of our family :) Thanks for the chance to win one or 3 of these fabulous sets! I would just faint if I won :)

My favourite Christmas baking item would probably be "pecan puffs". This was a recipe from my great aunt and they just melt in your mouth. It is always a great memory of her, making them with my mom, and baking them to give to other (and enjoy ourselves)!

Sherry Gardner said...

great cards and ideas....the answer to the question about holiday baking is : Pumpkin Bread...hands down favorite...:)

Jean said...

Such an inspirational hop. It is amazing how truly creative your team is. This isn't really baking, because it is a rolled refrigerator cookie - but we always need to have cathedral cookies. My mom started the tradition and now I am continuing it. Have a blessed November.

Wow! This was an exciting hop! Thank youladies for your fabulous creations and inspiration!

In Ukraine there isn't a traditional Christmas baking. We have a tradition of cooking 12 dishes for Christmas dinner. The most delicious and favorite is Kutia. It's rice mixed with honey, poppy seeds, nuts and raisings! However we do bake in our family. My favourite holiday pie is Chocolate Pie with snowy icing :)

I really hope to win. Unfortunately it's too difficult for me to buy things outside my country, so maybe I'll be lucky? ))
I would love to share Jesus's message through my projects and nothing would help me more than your stamps! You are unique! I am so delighted I've found you. We don't have challenges or shops designed to spread the Good News here :(

Blessings to all,
Joy from Ukraine

Really loved the hop and I visited everyone and left them all a message on how wonderful their projects were. She made the best peanut butter fudge ever, but her pumpkin bread baked in a one pound coffee can was by far the BEST! Love you Mom

Thanks for the fantastic hop. So much inspiration from each of the ladies. I think I was able to comment on all of them. --- Since my Grandma passed away we don't bake like we used to. When she was alive, my favorite baked good was her cream puffs. Now my favorite baking thing is making cutout cookies with my kids. Thanks so much for a chance to win. I would be so excited to have some of your stamps.

As usual your DT did an outstanding job. Everything was beautiful and inspiring.
My mother's fudge was the best. It doesn't have the marshmallow creme added to it. Any time I try fudge from a candy store it's disappointing. Hers is always better. I still make it every year and friends are always thankful to get it.

slbela59 said...

Awesome hop!! Each project was better than the last (if that was possible)!!! All the ladies have such wonderful talent. I was able to comment on each blog. I have two: my mom's sweet potatoe pie and her fudge.. oh so good.. thanks for the chance to win.

Your team has again out done themselves which such beautiful creations. I finished the hop and left comments!

My favorite and one I still do is what is called a refridgerator fruit cake. It is made with graham crackers and marshmallows and since I am not a fan of the dried fruites, all I add is raisans and nuts. Yummmmm!

Great, inspiration hop, helping me to get into the mood to make some Christmas cards! I was able to hop to & comment on each one. Hmmm, I don't remember having an absolute favorite holiday baked good of my Mom's, everything was always good, tho I think it depended on what age I was : ) Very young, I remember esp. liking the church window cookies, with the colored marshmallows, the look appeal and the idea of eating lots of marshmallows got me excited.

Brenda said...

Great hop once again. I did have to leave "anonymous", signed comments on several of the blogs that would not accept my google account, but I was at least able to leave a comment on each one.

My faorite christmas baked item has to be cut out sugar cookies made from my great grandma's receipe. Of course part of the fun is decorating them.

WOW!!! what a fabulous blog and super talented artists who have created wonderful cards. they do make a great sales team because i want all of your new releases. i'm pretty sure i haven't missed any of the dt.

my three sisters and i started baking when we were about 9-10 yrs. old, my mom didn't have to do anything. but the one thing we have made (and we all still do) that was a Christmas constant was a bread braid filled with cinnamon, brown sugar, nuts and butter, iced then sprinkled with red and green sugars. it goes wonderfully with champagne.

Fabulous hop, ladies. This was my first time doing one and it was fun to see all the different designs and leave some comments! I got a lot of ideas and amamazed at the creativity of the designers.

I don't do as much baking anymore because I found myself eating most of it! lol I do the cookie and candy route for coworkers and will use my mom's recipe for buckeyes (creamy peanut butter filling rolled into a ball shape and dipped into melted chocolate). Yum!!

Love the new releases and the ladies did an awesome job showing them off. I knew my answer to this question immediately. We have a family tradition of making a little German cookie we call Peppernuts every Christmas. When my parents came from Nebraska to South Carolina to celebrate with us, my mom would make these with my two little girls. I can still see them sitting up on the counter, covered with flour.
