Product Review / Video Tutorial on ODBD Custom Cutting Dies!

Happy Memorial Day, everyone!

For this week's Product Review/Tutorial, we are revisiting the Our Daily Bread designs Custom Cutting Dies once again.  Though many of you have used the dies,  we believe that there is a need to spread the word again about how fantastic these dies are.  Right now there are twenty different custom dies which cut out a wonderful variety of Our Daily Bread designs' stamped images....see them all here.  "Popping up" an image is very popular.....it gives any project extra dimension and "Wow Factor"!  If you are one of those strange ones who loves tedious work like me (grin), you know just how long it takes to cut out some images, especially when you have to get your craft knife involved!  Using these custom dies takes only a minute or so and you'll be ready to go 3-d!!

Please enjoy the video below which shows how to use the custom dies, plus I give you a look at what each stamp and matching die look like once they are cut out.  (Sorry....I did not have time to color all 20 of the images, but they still look great in black and white!)

Below is a slide-show I put together showing over 200 Design Team project samples which feature the custom cutting dies.  All of the photos in the slideshow can also be found in the ODBD Card Gallery if you would like a closer look or more information.

The following card samples are the ones shown in the video tutorial.  All three of these were super easy, thanks to the custom cutting dies.....they do most of the hard work for you!!

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Faith';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, and Early Espresso Brown;
Ink: Stazon Timber Brown, Stampin Up Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizazz, and Close to Cocoa;
Size: A2.

The next card was super easy, thanks to the 'Watering Can' die which matches the stamp from the 'Happy Birthday' set!  The scripture verse in the corner is from 'Scripture Collection 9'.

Before this 'Sparrow Die' was released by Our Daily Bread designs, this image from 'He Watches Me' took me nearly two hours to cut out by hand because of all of the tiny details....now with the custom die, I can stamp and cut it out in a couple of minutes.....yay!!!

Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'He Watches Me' and the sentiment is from 'Mini Tags 1';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Sage Shadow (retired) and Whisper White;
Designer Paper: My Mind's Eye 'Miss Caroline - Fiddlesticks';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up markers and ink pads;
Accessories: Our Daily Bread designs 'Sparrow Die', Spellbinders Labels 22  and Ribbon Tags Trio dies, Stampin Up denim ribbon, paper piercer and template, sponge dauber, foam tape;
Size: A2.

We sure hope you've enjoyed the post and videos today.  Are you ready to give these dies a try?  Yes?  Well, here is some great news for you.....all of the ODBD Custom Cutting Dies are the Super Special Sale Item this week...10% off until Saturday, June 2nd at midnight EST!  (Sale price will be reflected in your shopping cart.)

Angie, this is WONDERFUL! Love to see all those beautiful detailed die cuts all in one place and with the coordinated stamped image. Beautiful samples and the designer samples video is amazing, too. You know....I did not know that clover die cut out two tiny bumble bees. Learn something new everyday!

These dies and stamps are so incredibly beautiful! It's always so hard to make a decision when ordering because there are so many to choose from!

I don't have any coordinating stamps and dies yet, but that's what my next order will be!

I didn't know about the clover die either. Now I will have to break it out! I love it when the little stuff can be perfectly die-cut. Great video and slide show you put together Ang!
