Besides salvation? I am most thankful that the Lord gave me a wonderful, supportive family and many many friends to whom I can turn in times of happiness or trouble.

I would have to say, I am most greatful for my animals and other peoples children. I cannot have any of my own so I have to live vicariously through others when I need my kiddlet fix. :)

I think I am most thankful that so far our son has a lovely family and they are happy.

So many children are raised well and taught about the Lord, but temptation takes over, and ruins lives, especially the way things are now. There are so many bad influences on our children.

I thank God every day, and pray that our son and his family keep God in their hearts, and look to Him for strength.

This year I am most grateful for my brother. He knew I needed something from home. We are Canadian ex-patriots living in St. Louis. I have not celebrated a holiday - Canadian or American - with my family in 14 years. He conspired with my husband and surprised me this morning. He is here for 4 days. I still cry looking across the room and seeing him sitting in my living room.

I am thankful for our Lord, Jesus Christ, for His gift of salvation. But close to that is an amazing miracle that God has granted to my husband, Ric. Ric was injured 12 years ago and has been on morphine for the pain the entire time. He started having breathing issues in January and the specialists said it was the morphine. So he decided he was going to get off of it. The last 6 weeks have been nothing short of hell on this earth with me taking him to the ER 3 times for the horrible withdrawal symptoms, hallucinations, falling, etc. He remembers very little of it but I'll never forget it. But as of two weeks ago, he is completely off of the morphine. Praise God!!! But the real miracle ~~ wait for it ~~ wait for it ~~ after getting completely off of the narcotic, the pain is GONE!!!! We haven't stopped praising the Father for His faithfulness and for taking this horrific pain away after so many years. I have my 'real' husband back and am crying tears of joy. Now the hospital and specialists' visits have come to a whopping $50,000 so I won't be buying any stamps anytime soon. But I still love to look. I'm trying to see if I can squeeze in the Ornaments 2 set but it will most likely have to wait until next year. But that's okay. The real things that matter most are getting off the drugs and the pain being gone. Sorry for the novel here. Just love sharing God's amazing grace with people. So Happy Thanksgiving to all.
In Christ, Peggy

I would say that I have my things to be thankful for....my family and friends and for their love and support. Life is such a precious gift, and since my mom died at the age of 45, I am thankful for each day.

How fun to read comments that keep Christ as the center of their list of things to be thankful for! He alone is enough - even without all His other blessings. I'm overwhelmed with His goodness to me every day, whether my circumstances happen to be painful or joyful at the time. And thank you, ODBD, for encouraging us to focus on the Word even in our stamping!

My family! I watched an amazing thing at dinner. My 9 y/o DS was a bit grumpy (we got him up early for a 5k run), however when my husband took both our hands and told us how thankful he was for both of us, I watched my son's face and saw him transition from grumpy to happy. Another reminder of just how important our words are. What a blessing both these "men" are in my life!

I am most thankful for the Lord allowing my Mom to still be with us for another year and another holiday. Back in March of this year she had a blood clot in her lungs and we almost lost her. She's been through a lot but God gives her the strength and the will to keep fighting and I can't think of anything that has touched my heart more and blessed me so.

I am most thankful for my loving, patient, heavenly Father who spared no expense to make me His child, & for His Son & His Spirit, & their constant presence, protection & provision.

Alot to be thankful for! I have a wonderful husband and daughter and God has blessed me with friends. Some of my friends even understand my stamping addiction! :) A friend read me the question, "What if tomorrow you woke up and only had the things and people you were thankful for the day before?"-Mary R.

There are so many things that I am grateful for - my Salvation, my Heavenly Father's grace and mercy, for the blood of Jesus and all that it covers. The past 6 months I have been in contact with my biological Father who wasn't in my life for many years (47 years). After my Mom passed last January the Lord told me to write a letter to my Father and to ask for forgiveness for the things I had spoken over him for 50 years. I wasn't to write and ask any questions, but to forgive as God has forgiven me and to ask for his forgiveness for the things I have said. It wasn't an issue of whether he deserved it or not, in the flesh he doesn't, but God is saying something different. There has been a lot of healing in my life due to obedience and trusting God through this. Years of layers of "stuff" are being removed. Today was the first Thanksgiving I was able to call him and spend time on the phone. I'm so thankful.........Forgiveness is freeing! The most wonderful thing is he knows Jesus. Blessings~

I am so thankful for: my family, for my loving and understanding husband, for my children, for my extended family and my lovely faith community, for peaceful and supportive neighbors, for health, employment, God-given skill, cars that work (!), the availability and abundance of food, a home that still stands, to be living in the USA and most of all under the watchful eye of a just and loving Creator.

I am thankful for my two daughters, one who is starting a new journey in another state, and one who will be returning from a 14 month journey next Thursday. The opportunities they have had are unbelievable. My church family who has been there for me the last couple of years, without them I wouldn't be a peace as I am. I have a great bunch of friends that are more than family to me. Hoping everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my salvation. I also have two wonderful children for whom I have the wonderful privilege to homeschool. I am extremely grateful that my husbands work has been good and I have the opportunity to stay home with my children. I also have suffered with back pain for many years and had surgeries. I am grateful that the Lord has helped me each and every day. When I call out on Him, He is there to help me. Without God, I am nothing.

Like many people, I am thankful for so many things, but when I have to pick the thing I am most thankful for it has to be the family that God has given me. He is so good and wise. He knows just the people we need in our lives to help us through, to bless us and for us to be able to help and bless in return. Thank you, God!

I am so thankful for my wonderful daughter. I don't know what I would do without her and all she does for me now that I am older and not as strong as I used to be. She is an angel among angels. Never have to ask her for anything - she just knows and does. Same for my grandson. Thank you Lord for family.

I am most thankful for my loving daughter. She has overcome many obstacles including family members who have turned their backs on her, being physically assaulted by a neighbor and harsh treatment by her own grandmother. Through all this she has excelled at high school. She graduated with honors and even gave the commencement speech. She is currently in her third year of college and has continued with a 3.8 GPA. Through all her struggles our relationship has grown stronger and she has been a constant source of strength and determination to me. She has been my source of inspiration in my cardmaking endeavour. My wonderful daughter has taught me to love and to continue on with life no matter what because we all control our own destiny. I'm so happy and proud to call her daughter and feel blessed that she calls me mom.
