Operation Write Home Spring Training Blog Hop

Welcome to the Operation Write Home Spring Training Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from the Bazzill Blog, you are in the right place, if not you might want to head back to the Operation Write Home Blog and start from the beginning so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects!

If you are new to OWH, their mission is to support our armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on.  Our Daily Bread Designs is a proud monthly sponsor of OWH!

The OWH Spring Training Blog Hop is all about Masculine Cards.  I created a Reverse ZFold card using Our Daily Bread Designs The Mighty Sea, Footprints, The Sea Mini  and Count the Waves stamp sets.

Here's a side few of the fold

Reverse ZFold - Our Daily Bread Designs The Mighty Sea, Footprints, The Sea Mini and Count the Waves stamp sets

To create the fold, cut your card stock to 4-1/4" x 11” and score at 5-1/2" and 8-1/4".  Here's an open view.  The Mighty Sea is stamped in Black Archival on pattern paper, then colored with STAEDTLER Karat Aquarell Watercolor Pencils, blending the color with Gamsol.  Clouds were added the top by sponging around a Scallop edge with Blue ink.  The sentiment from Count the Waves is stamped in Black Archival.

Reverse ZFold - Our Daily Bread Designs The Mighty Sea, Footprints, The Sea Mini and Count the Waves stamp sets

The quote from The Sea Mini set is stamped in Black Archival on a scrap of pattern paper.  When closed it tucks into a slit in the back of the base card.
Reverse ZFold - Our Daily Bread Designs The Mighty Sea, Footprints, The Sea Mini and Count the Waves stamp sets
The Footprints image is also stamped on a scrap piece of pattern paper and colored with watercolor pencils.

Thanks so much for stopping by, your next stop on the hop is the May Arts Blog!

Blessings,
