This week's challenge is an Easter/Spring Inspiration Challenge!!! Please do not include images with Easter Bunnies.

The religious meaning of an egg ....
While many associate Easter eggs as a commercialized symbol or tradition of Easter, the egg to the Christian symbolizes Chris's passion, death and resurrection.  Christians saw the egg's shell as a symbol of the protective darkness of the life-giving tomb; a hatching chick represented the risen Christ emerging from the tomb on Easter meaning.  Just like life emerges from the hatched egg so does Christ emerge alive from the tomb.  Life in an egg begets a new generation of life; Christ generates new life for all creation...putting death to death!!  The best egg is an empty egg...hatched out..purpose fullfilled..a new life begun.  The best tomb ever is an empty tomb!!

"The Lord whom you seek is no longer here, for He is risen as he said!!" said the angel.

You have until Sunday, March 29 at 8 p.m. to join us for a chance to be spotlighted for the Shining the Light award or to win a $15 gift certificate. Please use the keyword ODBDSLC231 and link your creation directly in the linky below.

I am so inspired by the work done here. Now that I have a couple ODBD stamps, I think I might give up some of my regular challenges to play here more often.
