Please pray for Grace Nywening!

Our own Grace Nywening is in much need of prayers.  I ask that you pray for Grace as she starts treatment for breast cancer.  Recently Grace posted this message:

"We all go through trials in our lives, and if we know the Lord as our Savior, He is such a comfort to us in those deeply difficult times. I have been going through one of those difficult times, and today my concerns were confirmed. I have breast cancer. It's fairly aggressive and the tumor is pretty large. I meet with a surgeon tomorrow and should be having surgery as soon as it can be scheduled.

I don't tell you for sympathy or for attention. I share with you in hopes that you will pray for me as I go through the lengthy treatment ahead and for wisdom in the decisions that need to be made.

I know God is in control, and that His love and mercies are immeasurable. His plans are for our good, and I am submitted to His will. I cherish your prayers!!!

2 Cor. 1:3-4
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

If you would like to post this blog button we had made for Grace, please do.  Grace can use all the prayers we can give to her!!

Thanks so very much!!!
Kelley

Dear sister in the LORD, Grace,
You are very well named and I am sure that the God of all Grace will be your Strength and Stay in this rocky steep path that He has called to walk.
Praying for His mercy to be manifest day by day, for God's wisdom to be given to all who care for you, for carefulness in all that they do in relation to your treatment.

In the dark of the midnight of this trial may our God be the Light.
"When I sit in darkness the LORD shall be a light unto me."

Hugs and prayers for you from Shaz in Oz.x

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this beautiful lady, Grace. Please keep Your Arms wrapped around her today and everyday as she goes through surgery and any other necessary treatments to rid her body of cancer to a complete healing and recovery. Be with her Doctors and all the medical staff caring for her.. Give them wisdom and direct their hands with your loving and skillful hands during surgery and all treatment needed. May all who love and care for her find comfort in knowing you are guiding the way and will see her through to victory. May all who see your great works, glorify you in all things. In our Savior's name, Jesus, we pray. Amen Hugs, love and faithful prayers, Anne L. Lewes, DE

Grace, I will keep you in prayer for complete healing in the name of Jesus. I have admired your work on ODBD and you blog. You have to be a very lovely spirit as your creations are beautiful.
I know your fear is so raw and so real. The devil is the master of confusion and fear, do not submit,, continue to call on the name and the stripes of Jesus Christ who gave us complete healing (Isaiah 53:5) Amen!

Grace, my daughter is just past her 2 year Dx of invasive ductal cell stage2 of the left breast. Talk about fear! She's my Only baby and she went thru so much, but through it all she kept her faith strong and she has victory! She was 34 yrs old when diagnosed, she has had double complete mastectomy, total hysterectomy and PRAISE GOD! is cancer free at this writing.
I tell you this not to toot her horn or to make light of your very individual situation but to say that simply there is power in prayer and you will be surrounded by prayers everywhere rising high to heaven on your behalf.

God Bless you and your family and give you peace with your storm, for you can weather it with Faith. Love to our sister in Christ, Pam Kelley

I am praying for you Grace. We don't understand many challenges that the Lord allows us to go though. I know that He desires a stronger relationship with all of us. Please don't pull away from Him no matter how tough it gets, but draw closer to Him each and every day. He will give you everything you need to endure this trial. Stand on the word and His promises. I pray for strength, courage, faith, hope and most of all Healing. God's ways are higher than ours. He's got you in the palm of his mighty hands. Bless you my dear and I will continue to pray for you. Blessings and many (((((HUGS))))).

I do pray that the healig power of God that Jesus provided at the cross will restore Grace to perfect health!

I would also like to tell you about a documentary that I just watched that might really be of help. It's called "The Truth About Cancer." I really recommend watching it before doing anything drastic. It could save your life. For instance, the essential oil (medical grade) Frankincense has been shown to dissolve tumors. That's just one of many proven cures that the allopathic medical community are not aware of, or will even discourage. I would sincerely warn you about chemotherapy. It destroys the immune system. Look for cures that God has provided, not manmade. God Bless!

Grace, I just prayed for your peace, strength and healing. This week in my Bible Study Fellowship class, we were studying Revelation chapter 4 which gives us a glimpse of the throne room of God. Those 11 verses are such an encouragement that no matter what we face here on earth, God is on His throne in complete control of all things. I hope you have a moment to read it and be comforted by the absolute glory and sovereignty of our amazing Father in heaven!

Grace, I will be praying for you. I also know that Jesus is our healer and our part is to receive the healing that he already provided in his stripes on calvary. It was not in vain that He died for us. But we DO need to believe and receive what He has already done. May God give you an extra dose of faith to believe that He WANTS you well and has provided healing in the atonement. Doctors do their best, but the healer is still Jesus.

Thank you all so much for praying for me! It is such a comfort to know that hundreds of people are storming the throne on my behalk! God hears and answers according to His perfect will! My Oncologist and Surgeon agree that for me the best protocol is to not do surgery until the tumor has shrunk so I am doing 18 weeks of biological and chemo drugs first, praying that they do what needs to be done to the tumor and that the effects to my healthy cells will be minimal and recoverable. I love to eat natural and do try to follow healthy life style but I still got cancer and it's aggressive enough that I feel I don't have time to play around with alternate means as time is of the essence. I am however trying to find alternative treatments that can work together with my medical protocol and not interfere with it but help my own immune system recover quickly and praying that will be the best solution for this particular need. When faced with big decisions like this we have to look at real results, and I have to say that I have several friends and lots of acquaintances who have been in full remission for 20 years or more! They are living their lives normally and that is my hope and prayer as well. However.... I also want to be fully submitted to God's will, and am at peace that whatever path He has chosen for me is the best path and I will try to give Him all the glory in it. Thanks again for your prayers!
