Flashback Friday Favorite - Serenity Prayer

Reinhold Niebuhr.  Friedrich Christoph Oetinger. Mildred Pinkerton.  Edith Thomas Wallace.  St. Francis of Assisi.  Mother Goose???  No matter who is credited with the Serenity Prayer, it remains near and dear to millions:

These 24 words are recited many times over.  The underlying message being strength, perseverance, knowledge and triumph of the human spirit.  What matters is that this prayer has given comfort and power to a person's soul and will continue to do so long after we have left this life.
