Product Review - Flower Soft New Additions

October 05, 2009

My motto has always been, " If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" However, when it comes to Flower Soft, they keep coming up with more and more new delicious colors! For this I say, "Bring it on!!!" Most of you are familiar with Flower Softby now and hopefully you have studied Lorelie's awesome tutorial on how to use Flower Soft......Lorelie is quite the teacher and gives some beautiful samples!

Today's Product Review is to highlight some of the new colors: Autumn, Vintage Christmas, and Polar White......perfect for the changing seasons on the way! Let me remind you of Flower Soft's versatility......not only can you decorate your scenery or flower bouquets, but you can also add Flower Soft to your favorite embellishments!

I have used the new "Autumn" blendon my first project, paired up with Basic Grey "Indian Summer" designer paper, Prism cardstock, "Quiet Waters" scene, plus the sentiment is from a new release, "Praying for You". I love the beautiful colors of the fall season and I had to hold back from covering the entire scene with Flower Soft!!

My second project features one of two pre-printed images from the Flower Soft "Christmas Holly and Ivy Toppers"plus the "Vintage Christmas" Flower Softblend. The toppers are so great because you can add as little or as much Flower Soft as you like, but you still have the beautiful printed image behind. I have paired this with SEI "Christmas Mint" designer paper,Prism cardstock, the Martha Stuart "Doily Lace" border punch, sheer ribbon from May Arts, and "Worship the Lord"stamp set. The center of the punched snowflake was also embellished with the "Vintage Christmas" blend for some added Flower Soft effect.

I saved my new favorite Flower Soft for last......the new"Polar White"! You apply this in the same manner as any other Flower Soft. Not only does it look like snow or ice, but it has a "glitz factor" about has a sparkle to it, almost like glitter, but without the glitter mess!!!! I just had to break out the little country church from"Worship the Lord"and go crazy with the snow effect!!! I used more designer paper from the SEI "Christmas Mint"collection plus Prism cardstock.
