Product Review - Cuttlebug Embossing Folders

When I started stamping almost a decade ago, I never dreamed that there would be such cool toys to play with.......I to create with!! So many paper-crafters fell in love with the Cuttlebug embossing folders as soon as they came out, including myself!!! Provocraft continues to come out with new designs and now, larger sizes!! Not only do they continue to come out with awesome new background folders, but the borders and combo sets are "must-haves"! The samples below show many different ways to use embossing folders.

This card features the "Stars" embossing folder with the raised images highlighted with an ink pad direct to the embossed cardstock.....another option would be to use a sponge dauber, brayer, or chalks to apply color. A second piece of cardstock was embossed, colored, and cut out to make an embellishment for the ribbon.

This beautiful card by Grace features the "Holly Ribbons" folder to create a frame. I just love to see these folders used with metallic cardstock...extra "wow factor"!

Betty shows us how to add elegance to her project by embossing white cardstock with the Victoria folder.

Sandee wows us constantly by using the embossing folders with designer paper. Look how much dimension is added with the "Ornamental Iron"!!!

Grace shows off one of five embossing folders in the "Flourish Borders" set on this gorgeous Angel card.

These Cuttlebug embossing backgrounds and borders are so versatile and can be used in so many different ways. One thing to mention is that you can use the embossing folders not only in your Cuttlebug, but with the Spellbinder Wizard and several other die-cut machines as well.

Check out the selection of Cuttlebug accessories in the ODBD store today, which, by the way, are the Super Special Sale of the week. All Cuttlebug folders and accessories are 20% off until Saturday, January 2, 2010 at midnight, EST.
