Flashback Friday Favorites - Christmas Verses

This week's Flashback Friday Favorites set is "Christmas Verses", the companion set to the two poinsettia sets, "Blessed Christmas" and "Luke 2:11". To revisit the previous Flashback Friday Favorites posts, click HERE.

I love the powerful scriptures and the beautiful fonts in this set! The scripture verses and sentiments not only work great with the poinsettia sets, but you could combine them with ANY of the Christmas sets....OR they can stand on their own as the focal point of your project.

Once again, for this Flashback of "Christmas Verses", I have collected some of the most gorgeous samples from the Design Team at Our Daily Bread designs. No matter what style, color, or techniques used, these beautiful stamps are always the star of the show!!!!

For more beautiful samples for this set or any other ODBD sets, check out the ODBD Card Gallery. Just a reminder, if you purchase all three sets in the "Poinsettia bundle", you will receive 10% off. Remember, any ODBD stamp set you click on, if there is a bundle available for that set, you will see it listed on the same page.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! Stay tuned tomorrow for another Shining the Light Challenge!! God Bless!!

Customer Card of the Day - Vicky Gould

I love my job! Though it's tough to decide on which project to feature each week, I truly enjoy looking at all of the wonderful ODBD creations! This week's Customer Card of the Day belongs to Vicky Gould!!! Congrats, Vicky!!! Vicky's "flip flop" card is designed beautifully! I love the embossing with the CB Victoria folder, the gorgeous colors, Prima Flowers, and not one ODBD verse, but two from Scripture Collection 3!!!

The back side of the flip flop card is just as gorgeous!! I can't decide if I like the embossed side or the de-bossed impressions better!! I think it's awesome, even if you looked at it upside down or sideways!!!

To see more of Vicky's gorgeous creations, visit her Splitcoast gallery HERE or take a look at Vicky's blog HERE. Congrats again, Vicky!!! I will be sending the Customer Card of the Day button code for your blog shortly!

If any of you ODBD fans out there would like a chance to be featured for ODBD Customer Card of the Day, make sure to use ODBD stamps and mention either "ODBD" or "Our Daily Bread designs" as Keywords when you upload to the galleries at SplitcoastStampers or Christian Paper Crafts. We'll be looking out for you!!!

Time With Julie Warner

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying a great week! Time flies when you are having fun, doesn't it? We do have something fun for you to enjoy today! We are spending time with Julie Warner! If you don't know her work... you MUST visit her blog to see all the eye candy she has to offer! She has a beautiful graduation card to share with you today! Enjoy!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

With all the graduations and graduation parties beginning, the May Graduation Sets from ODBD are just perfect. I love the calligraphy and inspiring words and the this bridge scene from For the Graduate is absolutely wonderful. I see many, many uses in its future!

For my Bridge to a Future card, I stamped the scene twice on ivory card stock with pigment ink and heat set. I added just a hint of color to the horizon to reinforce the dawning of a new future over the bridge to be crossed. I used a Spellbinders lg rectangle to emboss the edges and put the two together to extend my scene a little to fit my 4" x 7" ivory card. I added a layer of mint green textured card stock behind it and part of a wide lattice punch. It's attached to a piece from the Basic Grey Nook & Pantry collection, then to an ivory card.

I stamped the inspirational verse on ivory using a rainbow pad I made with chalk inks. (It's simply a blank Kaleidacolor pad and I added the ink colors with reinkers.) It was die cut with a Spellbinders Labels 4 die, left the die in place and sponged on a little ink. I made a backing for it out of more of the lattice punched ivory and added two strips of the cut off loop edge on the top and bottom. The pale peach flourishes are from the Spellbinders Fancy Tags die.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to give the graduates in your life a pat on the back for a job well done! May their futures be rosy!

Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge(SNTODBD10)!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs Stamping In Time: On Assignment Challenge!

The Assignment:   Any and ALL ODBD stamps!
The challenge:   It is time for Stamping In Time Challenge(SNTODBD10)! Silke Ledlow is our challenge host this month! Silke is challenging us with a sketch! It is a high/low card or tall/narrow card for this sketch. Your choice! However, it is not an A2 or a square card sketch! Good luck and have fun with it!

Silke is using ODBD I Am the Way set.  She stamped one of the flowers that come in the set in a light shade and stamped the scripture.  Love this look and design.  Silke added gingham ribbon accenting for the horizontal portion of the sketch and finished those with silver pearls.  She used the scor-pal to create more texture and dimension.  Beautifully done, Silke!  Thanks so much for hosting with us!  Check out her blog post for more details.  Also, check out the other ODBD designer's blogs to see what they did with the sketch!

Check out the other ODBD designer's to see what they did with the sketch!
