This week we are switching gears a bit in order to show off our Guest Designer for October and November, Marcelle Schauer!!! ( Customer Card of the Day will be back next Wednesday!)
Marcelle is no stranger to stamping! She and her late sister owned a scrapbook store together....what a joy that must have been! Marcelle has worked on several design teams, including DRS Designs, the Cuttlebug Spot, and currently is my Design Team sister (and daily devotional writer) at Christian Paper Crafts! Outside of the craft world, Marcelle works full time, plus is a Bible Study Fellowship leader, where she is a teacher and mentor for a group of Christian ladies in her area. What a blessing Marcelle is to all who know her....she is full of wisdom which comes from above! I am so blessed to call her friend!
This gorgeous project was created for Marcelle's official debut as a "Breadstick" for the October New Release Blog Hop on the 1st. Isn't it absolutely amazing?! Marcelle used the sentiment and poinsettia stamps from "Blessed Christmas" along with the new custom cutting die, "Poinsettia Die", which cuts out the poinsettia perfectly! Marcelle posted a tutorial on her blog to show you how she made this masterpiece....check it out HERE. Thanks for sharing the instructions, Marcelle!!!
We are so excited to have Marcelle on our team for the next two months! I know you will love the ODBD projects she has coming up in the next few weeks as well. To see more of Marcelle's artistry, check out her blog, Stamping Thyme, her Splitcoast gallery, or her gallery at Christian Paper Crafts. I promise you will be totally inspired!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Coming up later in the week is another Flashback Friday Favorite, where we re-visit some of the "Oldie but Goodie" stamp sets by Our Daily Bread designs, and you don't want to miss the next Shining the Light Challenge, bright and early on Saturday! Plus, you still have another week to submit your entries for the Stamping In Time: Movement Challenge.....another chance to win $ toward ODBD stamps!
Many blessings to you!
