Week 1 {ODBDLYLS13} Scrapbook Challenge

Happy New Year everyone! First, I am so glad a few of you had time during the busy Christmas season to play along! And we love seeing new people joining in for the first time! Welcome! We hope many more of you will join us for this January Challenge! But first, we are sure you want to see our winners of the December ODBD Let Your Light Shine Scrapbook Challenge. So, let's look at our winners.

The December Winners

Jonia Smith is our $20 gift certificate winner for this past month. I love how she used the ODBD sets Scripture Series 2 and Christmas Verses to scrap this Christmas page in non-traditional colors. Such a wonderful page! Congrats to you Jonia, and please e-mail Kelley at kelley@ourdailybreaddesigns.com for more information on how to claim your gift certificate. For those of you that want to see her complete post, be sure to look at her post here.

Gini Cagle is our Let Your Light Shine winner. Love how she used the ODBD Butterfly Corner stamp in white ink on the colored cardstock. Looks wonderful! To see complete details of her page, please see Gini's post here.

Both of you please be sure to grab the Shining the Light Award Badge and display it with pride. Please link the badge to http://ourdailybreaddesigns.com/. Congratulations to you both, and thank you to those of you that played along in December.

The January Challenge
So, what colors do you think of in January? Maybe white for snow or blues for a blue sky against the white snow? Well, I have chosen this photo for our January color inspiration challenge. These colors could work for any photos you have—winter, Christmas, July 4th, anything! So, your scrapbook challenge for January is to: create a layout of any size and any theme using ODBD stamps and this photo as inspiration. Use any or all of the colors. Feel free to add basic colors such as brown, black, or white, and have fun with it!

Challenge Inspiration
Today I have done a layout using the blues from the inspiration photo. I also used several of the new ODBD releases for January: God's Love, 2-Step Butterflies, and the Butterfly 2 die.

**Use Keywords ODBDLYLS13 and ODBD when linking to SCS or other public galleries.
**The same keywords will be used for this entire month of January!
**To be eligible for the $15 gift certificate, leave a link to your creation here using Inlinkz.
**All entries for the entire month must be linked to this first post of the month using Inlinkz.
**If you use either your blog link or online gallery, please give a link back to this challenge page.

The challenge runs through Tuesday, January 31st, at 6 p.m. Eastern. You can enter as many times as you like, just remember to link your creations to this first post. We will select a winner from ALL of the January scrapbook challenge entries for a $15 gift certificate to the ODBD Store! The winner will be announced with our new challenge that will begin Tuesday, February 7th! We hope to see many pages and new players this month! Have fun, and we can't wait to see what you create.
