COME MEET DESIGN TEAM MEMBERS
DAWN LUSK, LISA SOMERVILLE AND ANGIE CROCKETT AT OUR RETREAT
SEPTEMBER 12-14, 2014!
We are pleased to announce our “Meet*Learn*Listen*Discuss” card making time with Design Team members Dawn Lusk, Lisa Somerville and Angella Crockett.
Along with a weekend of wonderful card making classes……….come and talk to Dawn, Lisa and Angella about new techniques, product reviews, how they are inspired, and one-on-one advice on this ever changing paper craft hobby.
Dawn is a prolific Stamp Designer for both Our Daily Bread Designs and North Creations. She is also Copic Certified. She loves using her Copic Air Brush System in combination with dies and “lots” of layers. Dawn also designs many of the cards and samples for store displays and Our Daily Bread Designs classes. Some of the cards you will be making at this retreat were created and designed exclusively by Dawn.
As far as her endless creativity, she simply says, “I get it from the Wind-in-the Willows”. So what does this actually mean? Dawn uses nature as her inspiration and gets as close as possible to the real thing when creating. It’s an extremely difficult concept so please ask Dawn how this works when you meet her at Salt Fork.
Dawn is also one of the original Design Team members of Our Daily Bread Designs so she has a very long history with our company!
Lisa has been a member of the paper craft industry for over 12
years having the great privilege serving on a great number of Manufacturer
Design Teams in the capacity of Design Team Member, Design Team Coordinator and
Social Media Coordinator.
Lisa’s style is pretty classical with a bit of shabby chic with
card making being her favorite thing to create, however, she has done
Scrapbooking and also enjoys creating Mixed Media Projects. She enjoys sharing her love of paper crafting
with others through her blog and teaching at Rubber Stamp events.
Lisa has also been widely featured in publications such as Crafts 'n Things,
Take Ten, Stampers Sampler, Stampington, Catch Up Issues, Craft Stamper, Stamps
& Scrap Arts, Just Cards, Rubber Stamper, Rubber Stamp Madness and
PaperCrafts. She has also been featured
in various Manufacturer post card mailings, packaging, catalogs, magazine ads
and websites.
Lisa runs a weekly crafting challenge on her blog each Friday
for the past 7+ years called BLOGGERS CHALLENGE. She also takes care of all the ODBD, NCC and AO blog posts, the YouTube monthly videos along with the Facebook and Pinterest pages. You can find Lisa at many of the ODBD shows and conventions!
As described by Angella, “I am a Christian, daughter, sister, and
wife....very happily married for 22 years to my very best friend, who is so
supportive of anything I do! I work full time in accounts receivable and
collections, and have a home-based business in which I help others with
essential oils and all-natural products. I used to be obsessed with
cross-stitch, until I was introduced to stamping over ten years ago....life has
not been the same since!!! I am so very blessed to be a designer
for Our Daily Bread Designs, who carries the most awesome Christian-based
stamps! The Lord blesses each of us with our own gifts and talents and He
instructs us not to hide those gifts under a bushel......stamping and crafting
is a way that I share His love with others. Our Daily Bread designs
provides us with the very best tools to bless others with His word and His
principles. I feel so fortunate and blessed to be a part of the ODBD
family!!”
Angie as she is known by all of us and has worked in many capacities for ODBD. She has created Product Review picture tutorials for the blog and has taped many videos for our ODBD You Tube channel, each having thousands of views. Angella’s favorite job has been choosing and featuring our Customer Card of the Week on our blog.
We are blessed to have Angella helping us out at several stamp shows a year were she shares her love and passion for the Christian based stamps that ODBD offers.

FOOD ONLY:
Do you want to bring a guest, your
husband, grandmother, etc. and they would like to enjoy the meals with you but
not take classes? No problem! We offer a food only plan for anyone wanting

For those of you that don’t
have the time for a full weekend retreat but want to shop our booth please stop by:
- Friday, September 12 from 6:00-9:00 PM
- Saturday, September 13 from 10:00 AM-9:00PM
- Sunday, September 14 from 9:00-Noon.
