Welcome to the ODBD Blog, today we are sharing new projects from Maggie and Stephanie, our May Guest Designers. Each of their projects showcase products from the May Release.
This week Maggie is using the School Bus Driver stamp set, and Stephanie is using the the Seeds of Knowledge stamp set. Both Guest Designers also use additional ODBD products on their projects, links to the products can be found under each of their cards.
This week Maggie designed another Clean and Layered card. The sentiments are embossed on the Double Stitched Pennant Flags dies and Glossy Accents were added to the lights on the wonderfully colored School Bus for added details. The pops of paper color are from the Birthday Brights Paper Collection.
Stephanie embossed the sentiment from the Seeds of Knowledge stamp set as the focal point of her card, embellishing the card with a fun bendable ruler using the Ruler Die from the Clipboard Set. Using the Lattice Background Die to emboss instead of die cut, she created a wonderful background for her card. After embossing the die, she heat embossed it and ran it back through her die cutting machine to ensure the nice crisp details.

Happy Thursday, everyone! Many of us have trouble coming up with clever ideas for "guy cards" so you will love what I found to share for Customer Card of the Day! Help me to congratulate this week's featured customer and former "Breadstick" (ODBD Designer Sister), Jan Keene aka heartsong47!! Though Jan created this super fun card for her son's birthday, I think many may borrow the idea for Father's Day! The tools were cut out with the ODBD Custom Workshop Tools Dies; the backdrop was cut from the ODBD Custom Pegboard and Hooks Dies; the birthday sentiment is from the "Little Boys" stamp set. I love that Jan found the paintbrush sticker which matches the tool dies so well and the tiny piece of shop rag is too cute! Thank you, Jan, for the inspiration! I'm sure this put a smile on your son's face!

Maggie's clean and layered design uses the Seeds of Knowledge stamp set and coordinating Teacher's Apples dies. Maggie used one of the fabulous papers from the Chalkboard Paper Collection to resemble a chalkboard, stamping her verse in White, then adding her stamped/colored and die cut apples to the side.
Stephanie used the apples from the Seeds of Knowledge stamp set to create her own background. Wanting to showcase an alternative way to use the Clipboard Set, she paired it up with the Double Stitched Rectangles dies to create a smaller clipboard for her sentiment.
