ODBDSLC DETAILS

We would love to have you play along with our monthly Our Daily Bread Designs Shinging the Light Challenge!  To enter, simply follow the Monthly Challenge Theme, then add your permalink (direct link from the address to the post on your blog or Splitcoast gallery post) to the InLinkz found at the bottom of the CURRENT Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge by Sunday, 8:00 p.m. EST.  Just click on the blue link that says Inlinkz in that post to add your link.  You will have to have a blog or be a member of Splitcoast Stampers in order to join so we are able to comment on your entries or be able to see your creations.

For your first creation you may use any stamps but for any additional entries, you must use North Coast Creations, Our Daily Bread Designs, or Artistic Outpost stamps.

One random winner will be chosen from all entries and announced here on our blog with our next challenge post. You need not use Our Daily Bread Design (ODBD), Artistic Outpost, or North Coast Creation stamps to join us or qualify for this drawing but if you have them, we would love to see them. As a way of recognizing those who participate using Our Daily Bread Designs or our sister company: Artistic Outpost or North Coast Creation stamps, we will be choosing one challenge participant for the Shining the Light Award.

However, in order to qualify for this award, you must have your submission using Our Daily Bread Designs, Artistic Outpost, or North Coast Creation stamps added to the InLinkz found at the bottom of the CURRENT Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge post by 8:00pm EST.  If you upload your projects to Splitcoast Stampers gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC and the number associated with the challenge that is listed at the top of the post for each challenge, so that we can easily find your project. When posting projects on your blog for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge, please include a link back to the challenge post in which you are entering.

If at all possible, please upload your creations to Splitcoast or a blog if you would like comments or a chance to be spotlighted.  It is very difficult and sometimes impossible to leave comments on other forums or to save and post cards to be spotlighted from places like Flickr.

To make the challenge even more fun, each participant will be placed in a random drawing for a $15 Our Daily Bread Designs Gift Certificate to be used towards stamps in the "stamps column" on our website!

Gosh, I wish I had any idea of what all of those instructions meant in order to enter your Challenges. But, I don't have a clue.

I agree with Nan. I don't know what all the instructions mean either. I am new to all of this and the abbreviations need to be explained especially in your challenge details page. What is SLC after the ODBD? Also, what is InLinkz? Do you have to be a blogger?
Please take a minute and explain to new people who are interested. If you have already done that and I missed it, please tell where to find it. Thanks.

I was just about to say the same thing as Nan and Beth. It is all Greek to someone who has not done this before. I know that your instructions are crystal clear for someone who has done this before....but could you give an even more basic explanation for those of us who have never participated before? Thank you so much!

Is there any way to participate without having a blog or belonging to Splitcoast Stampers? I would love to upload a picture of my card using your products.

Hi Pam

Sorry for the delay, as I just saw your comment. You can post your card to any online Gallery or Social Media where you can obtain a Permalink to your card. Hope that helps!

I have been blogging, posting and participating for many years, and still find some instructions confusing or lengthy. For one that has no experience in doing so, or are brand new to this, maybe a link to a past posting with completely explained, easy to understand, instructions would be a big help! Or a new posting with this info in it would be a great benefit. Is there a book called, "Posting/Blogging/Participating for Dummies"? No offense meant to anyone! ;)

I forgot to say that the cards are beautiful!
